I dropped the second chapter - started SS2c1 over again. This time I made a hard save just before leaving 111. With no mods. Now I can restart and skip the Sanctuary pre war, etc. Pics are mostly from Starlight. Funny thing happened ... a bramin charged me in Starlight. Then it was running from some nasty flying bugs. Killed em, And bramin left. Was a big surprise... Now th pics..

I can never be bothered building out cubes like that, my Starlight ends up just being a haphazard mess. This isn't "finished", this save's not very progressed yet as the Resources HUD indicates (there'll be a Hospital here eventually once those unlock too), but you get the idea.

Always enjoy building out Drumlin Diner as it's weird how these people live. And I like RP'ing turning it into a trading outpost/major caravan stop.

Guest... yes. LOL. Oh, my 1-4 playthrus of SS2 I did same thing - as I needed beds to upgrade levels to unlock better ag/ind/muni/com/relax plots. Got frustrated when trying to place plots in line. Some would overlap, etc. Silly looks sometimes. And the script lag on 15 individual homes was argg... (pretty homes... but visuals fade out, a lot.)

2x2 interior beds less script heavy, compact - need roof... Now I'm doing the buildings. Experimented with efficient / neat looking designs. Star is my only mega settlement, 20+ settlers.
Next play thru - in prep for c2, I'm experimenting with two story buildings. If you're interested, I'll post some pics of buildingsused in smaller settlemens - esier to see design.
