Hey who are your favorite Sim Settlements 2 characters? Mine are Gremlin, i mean where is this woman irl...i need to rebuild my pc. lol. And, Randy Adams...He reminds me of a friend of mine...definitely someone that has your back...and everyone else's. A humble hero. 'Come on Boss, this ain't no way for these folks to live'
 
I do like how if you talk to Randy again AFTER he's joined as a settler (might have other requirements too), you can get some backstory out of him and even a unique house skin for him. (it has a turret at level 3!)

It's tough to pick a definitive favourite though, overall they're quite realistically "normal" (with allowances for how zany a setting Fallout is). I was half expecting a lot more Mary Sue tier backstories, especially among the handful of Ghoul settlers, but all the ones I've met seem like just normal people!

I'm picking Jericho for number 3 because I really liked his backstory and personality.

Archon is number 2 because he's great looking and his quest reward is a good implementation.

My number one is going to be Sneake. He brings back some serious Honest Hearts nostalgia and his idle comments crack me up. I kind of wish he had more going on, like a quest to recruit more tribals. In fact I think he would be a really fun companion. I'm working on a Yao Guai skull helmet to have him wear because I think he needs it.

My first full playthrough he for some unknown reason got into a never ending lazer gattling fight in the with the longs and there mini guns. somhow he then got Audra to grab a arrault rifle and join the fun

this plathrough he chills out with nuke cola or coffee

You've met the Longs. Can you really blame him?
 
Isaiah is my favorite among the settlers followed by Hubert and Carl Meade
Thompson also stick out well to me with how skittish he is.

from there i sadly find that they taper of very quickly towards 'mundane' and then there are two i really don't like, but hey Murkwater exist for a reason and the longs need company.

But come on now everyone, you have to admit that THE RON is the winner
 
I keep forgetting his name, but that old singer guy. I'm pretty sure it's he who gives my favourite comment after an attack on the settlement. "They came, they saw, they got shot in the f#cking face!" XD
 
The farmer lady that wants peace and quite. Man what a dark quest line to get her. Her and jake for sure. The Powell's crack me up and Franklin is funny as hell.

Oh yeah, Odette! Damn, I nearly cried, her voice acting was really good and her story.. man, it's one of those settlers you search the whole place for after an attack just to make sure they're okay.
And yeah, I love Jake, really hope he'll become a companion at some point (..and hopefully romanceable..)
Franklin best alien. XD

Would be hilarious if there suddenly came Zetans to rescue him.
I have to agree on Odette, i really like her caring ways.

The voice actor for Jake is top notch. I dig his character so much. I can't wait to hear his "hey slick"
 
Ya! Second on Jake! Sorry Piper... I found a new romance option :D. I would certainly build him a house for us

I've been half tempted to download the Breakhart settlement mod just so i can give it back to her.
 
I’d have to say first and foremost…Old Paul ! I am so sad he goes away with Stodge & co.
I also just love to hear/see Audra…she’s so cool and different.
But clearly, Frenchie Jr., Darsenia Two, and Lily fall into my list, too. Great personalities for any settlement.
@FreudSlip, Gremlin is fun as well, but I hate the gun quest.

I always choose a settlement real close to Sanctuary, like Sunshine Tidings or Starlight Drive-In, just so Old Paul is within walking distance. Kinda tempted to give them Red Rocket next time, just to have Paul that close. He's like the kind of grandpa you never get tired of visiting.
Gray Matter was a damn good quest and it's always so great to hear Audra being happy after that mess.
Oh, and Frenchie Jr! The "they came, they saw, they got shot in the f#cking face!" guy!

...so many favourite settlers to keep close and happy, I might as well call it SIMP Settlements!
