Solved far harbor question

so, how does conquerer work in far harbor? cuz in the base game you have to reclaim settlements from the fog by going to them, clearing them, and thus allowing the settlers to set up condensers, which from what I remember also claims the settlement as just a normal settlement for you, so how does that work with the attack system, do you conquer/liberate them after doing the quest to push back the fog, or is that not possible as you already own the settlement?

Technically, you could probably conquer them before doing the quests. Though I never really test in the DLC (barely enough time to test in the Commonwealth!)

You can raid your own settlements though, so if you claim them via the quests they will be valid targets for your army to attack.

the king himself answers my question! yay!

and cool, will attacking my own settlements that have not yet become a vassal or outpost also work with a liberator?
