Solved Fall Damage Leaving Workshop Mode with WS+ Running

Starting a new playthrough, my second using WS Framework and WS+. I am sustaining fall damage leaving workshop mode with WS+ running this time round.

The Prevent Fall Damage setting in the MCM menu is set to ON. All other settings in the MCM are working correctly. Time can be stopped, player can fly at great speed, player is invisible to NPCs, and all the hot keys I set are working.

Is there an *.ini file or the like that specifies the amount of time after WS mode is disengaged that fall damage is suspended for? If so perhaps it is set to 0 or a fraction of a second or something?

Thanks for any light anyone can shed.
 
I’ve heard of this issue a couple times, though have not experienced it myself.

All that I can think of is to try toggling the option a few times in succession. Sometimes they can get a little “stuck” on the opposite of what you’ve chosen and need a little encouragement to flip them into the correct setting.

I’ve had this happen several times with the “auto-add to layers” option - you might be having similar with the no-damage. (Might be an MCM bug there - if so, it’s very intermittent.)
 
Thanks for your reply. The problem has been corrected, though I'm not sure why.

I had not tested toggling flight off while still in workshop mode to see if fall damage would be sustained. I created a hotkey for toggling flight, and gave it a test. No fall damage while still in workshop mode. Tested exiting workshop from a height yet again and, lo and behold, no fall damage. Did creating the new hotkey correct it? I deleted the key again to see if the problem returend but it has not.

So not sure why its fixed now, but it appears to be working correctly again.
 
Turned out this could happen if you had a piece of armor that gave you fall damage reduction. Fixed in 1.0.5.
