Hello.
I've got an insane mod list, but organized. Most I've used with SS2 before. I can post the list if need be. But I thought I'd ask first: Is this a known issue? It 'feels' like a load order issue. I've had it happen with diamond city mods before. The flickering and disappearing walls, streets and buildings. I can see that they are all edited by the mod - have travelled to other locations - tried disabling all texture mods. Nothing changed. Installed no more disappearing act hoping that'd fix it. No luck. General suggestions?

I was just marking up your load order.

I just tested PRP it can conflict with things like lighting mods.
--- yeah, I saw the user comments in the PRP post section claiming SS2 caused that, so I checked Jake's shop myself and it was fine.

The IMP is a workshop script issue that is listed on the Wiki.

If the version you have installed is the old one, then IDK.

Anyway Glad you found it.

Thanks so much for this! I didn't realize IMP was a problem. I'm having issues with my menu now and just realized that IMP isn't showing up (in addition to three specific mods in a weird way). Maybe I should take another look.

Yes. I am that good. Found the culprit: Previs Repair Pack at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
Might want put this on the list of no-no workie with SS2.
I tried for a full week to get prp to work and nothing I did could make it work with SS2. My entire Boston area was invisible with a few textures popping in and out. Tried going back to Sanctuary and things started disappearing there. Someone here posted how to fix broken pre-combines but I can't find it now.

PRP can conflict with other mods, but SS2 is not one of them. If you are only running SS2 and PRP, you won't have these issues. This is because SS2 does not touch VISI and PCMB data. The only minor issue is SS2 is built off Fallout.esm vanilla data, and PRP is built off UFO4P, but I haven't found any specifics where that discrepancy applies.

Sorry for bringing this up again but I followed prp's instructions to the letter. I even downloaded the suggested mods for quest mods. I have to admit the instructions were not specific but I tried. I removed prp, started a new game and everything worked. To test, I reinstalled Bostonfpsfix, started a new game and everything was fine. If someone had a specific load order to get prp working with SS2 and is it 'Thuggysmurf?'s mods I would be wiling to try again. Honestly, getting specific instructions on how to rebuild the pre-combine myself would be easiest for me. I love using Simple Sorter and Crafting Framework instead of tracking down extra mods to get things to work. I have only read wonderful things about prp but something is causing it not to work for me. For all I know it could be my Nvidia updates, I know that causes issues with some mods.

Thuggy's mods break precombines. Some of them, because of the way they were built, resist any patching. BostonFPSFix only covers a small portion (30%) of the commonwealth and no interiors, nukaworld or far harbor. PRP covers all of that. So it's a compatibility issue with PRP and Thuggy's mods that you won't easily be able to fix. SS2 isn't part of the conversation. Well, at least it doesn't conflict with PRP. I don't know if it conflicts with any other mods you might be using.

Odd. I'm using PRP, SS2, Depravity, Outcasts and Remnants, Project V, and Tales from the Commonwealth with no precombine issues. I'm sure somewhere there's some random issue with TftC and PRP, but I haven't seen it yet.

That stated, from what I understand, you really only want one mod loaded that rebuilds precombines per CELL XPRI data. So if you have multiple precombines for the same cells, then you'll end up with the flickering issues. I only recently came to understand how easily this can happen. That's why it's so important that mod creators do everything they can to only add objects to the worldspace and not remove or move anything. Issues abound otherwise.

Hi I am having the same issue but as far as I cant tell only at The Castle and Bunker Hill. Here is my load order. I don't really know how to tell if something is not loading correctly in the load order.
Edit I am moving this to a thread on the general discussion page.
