Crash Graphic card

Sorry for my English.
I started the translation of this mod among other things, I also have to update SS2 because many names are taken from here, I am also translating SS2 Wasteland.

The point is, I'm going to the Starlight Drive In to test all this in a clean and remote environment in a new game. No scrap mods. After a while testing I heard a noise from the speakers and my PC restarted directly.

After this my GTX 770 (2 Gb) from 2013 was no longer working. To be sure I have tested the card on another PC (even older) and it works fine. I put it back on this PC and surprise, it works. I try fallout 4 again and it works. Then I activate WRK again and after 1 minute the monitor is pixelated. Even restarting the PC several times does not work (without entering the game). Hmmm

I know the graph is old, 2 years ago I changed the thermal paste (I'm a handyman). But it is not a problem of temperatures.

The question is, has anyone had graphics card issues after using WRK? I understand that it seems unlikely that it is the mod, but I suspect it.

PS: The rumors that I have put a voodoo doll with the author's name after this, are false.

I assume that if no one else has had problems, it is that my graphics card does not hold because it is old.
I have already finished the translation, and now I am translating the corresponding part in SS2, it is a lot, a lot of work.

PS: I have kept the voodoo doll :grin

I believe with workshop mode it has to load all the objects into memory, either upon entering workshop mode or as you scroll through it. Wasteland Reconstruction Kit adds a huge number of objects, so this can result in increased demands for VRAM. Having 2GB of VRAM is at the baseline minimum level to run the vanilla Fallout 4 game. For modding Fallout 4, I would personally consider 4GB to be an effective minimum for Fallout 4 & recommend 6GB or 8GB in terms of VRAM, or more for those who want to very heavily mod the game.

Upgrading your GPU would allow for dramatically improved experience, but if not possible then I would suggest to try PhyOp - Overhauled Optimized Textures, the PhyOp (Light) Potato options as well as reducing game graphics settings in order to try to reduce the VRAM usage. If you have a lot of mods with many textures or adding higher resolution textures I'd suggest trying to run FO4 without them. If the official high res DLC is installed I would suggest removing it, I'd only use it on major overkill specs. If you are using ENB with a Preset &/or ReShade, then removing that might help since it can increase demands on the GPU in order to run the game, although trying the Stuttering and Memory patch ENBoost(without a separate ENB Preset) might potentially help.

Then I activate WRK again and after 1 minute the monitor is pixelated. Even restarting the PC several times does not work (without entering the game)
This sounds like the GTX 770 might be dying or maybe the power supply unit is dying. I think the game does handle things poorly when VRAM or system RAM run out and pagefile would have to be used, my experience has been that the game or CK will usually crash though a loss of video output or a sudden shutdown isn't typical so that indicates hardware issues.

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate someone trying to help me.

I have finished translating it in Red Rocket without problems although I have a lot of work left, most of the content is in SS2.
I'm going to take your advice with textures. Although now everything is working fine. I don't use ENB. Most likely, the PC is dying. When the PC dies, game over, COVID has messed up the economy.

I agree
