Question Constant Freezing and Crashing on Xbox One

So I have Sim Settlements 2 downloaded on the normal Xbox One. Every time I'm in Boston, especially around Goodneighbor my game freezes and/or crashes. The freezes and crashes are very frequent near the super mutants next to Goodneighbor. Also, I've noticed freezing when I go into VATS around the east Boston area. The strange thing is that my game only freezes in Boston, mostly the eastern part of Boston. I have not experienced freezes or crashes at any other area of the Commonwealth.

Here is my load order:
  1. Workshop Framework
  2. Sim Settlements: Three in One
  3. Sim Settlements Mega Pack: Year Two
  4. [XB1] Sim Settlements - Nobody's Leader
I tried to use the HUD framework, but that causes my FPS to decrease significantly and cause major lag. I also tried the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch, however, I could only find it in German on XB1 and this mod caused my game to crash at the loading screen. Any help would be much appreciated thank you!

This is a common thing downtown and is a vanilla game issue.
Interesting, based on a quick Google search people were saying they believe mods are the issue. Frankly, this is a game breaking issue because if I can't get to Goodneighbor then I can't continue the quest line. I disabled all my mods and I'm trying to go to Goodneighbor with the vanilla version on the game currently.

You said you're using SS2 but the Three in one file is SS1 and Mega Pack Year Two is also only for SS1 so make certain that you are actually using SS1 and only mods for SS1. SS1 and SS2 are NOT compatible with one another's mods.

The German version of the UFOP will most likely not work without the German language strings. It's well worth it to buy the DLC so you can use the Unofficial Patch, otherwise you're out of luck. The DLC are frequently on sale.

As for downtown, this is a very common problem on Xbox in general. Oddlittleturtle provides extensive support for Xbox users load orders. See her page on this issue specifically. See some of her other basic advice regarding load orders. Finally if you want some assistance troubleshooting your load order overall head to this discord server that specifically helps with Xbox load orders for Fallout and Skyrim (make sure you go to the correct channel for Fallout). Oddlittleturtle and I both help users there.

Edited to add: you canNOT remove mods mid game and continue to use that game. You need to start a new game without the mod you no longer want.

I am having same issue on Xbox Series S. You might try the MOD I found below, I have not used it yet but plan to.

Boston - Less Enemies by Abyssi
It says it cuts down many of the enemy spawns and turrets but made sure to leave anything quest related alone. Example given was, instead of 75 spawns happening, there will be only 9 to 10.

Also, if you have any high-resolution MODs, for character, weapons, clothing, etc, you might try using only vanilla (base game) items when trying downtown. You are trying to squeeze as much out of your Xbox as possible. Try setting the Xbox display to 720p or as low as you can get it.

Hello guys, I'm new to the community and was having the same problem, with the game freezing in Vats. I FIXED IT!

Somehow, i crafted ASAM sensors, and they were multiplying in my inventory, so I transferred them all to my workshop inventory, and the crashing stopped! Tried the VATS freeze Mod, but it did not work on my end.

Looking forward to exploring more about sim settlements.
