Question constant crashing

I have been trying to get past talking to the raider in Concord but I always CTD when getting too close to the fighting raiders

o yeah i cud be bad , do you know how big your save files are? Documents>My Games>Fallout 4

If those 3 settlements get built up it can cause many issues for some. We call it the triangle of death, those 3 settlements are to close togeather and the cells dont get unloaded ,so its trying to read everything and the game just gets overwhelmed :(
 
How old is ur save?
Check ur load order and also try a manual install.
I didnt see any but do u have mods that change concord or scrap mods?

i dont think any of my mods change concord, the only scrap mod i have is weightless junk, save is 1hr32min because of waiting for settlement pre builds. its weird because conqueror used to work for me

well i had the settlements pre built so i assume those 3 were built. and is it bad that fallrim wont open these saves? lol

ive gone through my mod list many times and ive made a new character after reinstalling conqueror, i made sure those 3 settlements werent built up during the prebuild and now this is what my crash logs look like. 34mb save file

Best guesses are bad mesh/missing mesh somewhere perhaps on one of the plots or too much going on at once like an overload of script events &/or too many draw calls.

I suggest to try Buffout 4, the Crash Logs feature can sometimes be really useful. It's helped me find bad meshes on my own game, even including FormIDs which made it easy to locate relevant files by looking up the FormID in xEdit in the indicated plugin and finding the model file path

Try updating Fallrim if on an older copy, currently the latest is Version 6.0.310

Most likely this is the cause, prebuilding at Sanctuary + Red Rocket + Abernathy. On the initial visit it can cause a lot of events to fire at once plus a lot of objects to be rendered all at once, and those 3 settlements are close enough together to be loaded simultaneously since the game on default INI settings loads cells in a 5x5 grid around the player. That's for uGrids = 5. If you have raised uGrids I would strongly suggest to set it back to 5, though I do believe that this setting if changed is irreversible on a savegame so may require a new game. I always just leave it on defaults. It may also be worth checking your load order for anything that may be editing the cells around Sanctuary + Red Rocket + Abernathy. Depending on the PC hardware, you may also want to dial back on graphics mods / HD textures.

There are unfortunately upper limits to what the game can handle. On my game back on SS1 with Conqueror I would usually omit these settlements in order to try for better stability: Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Abernathy, Starlight, Bunker Hill, Boston Airport, The Castle, Vault 88, Spectacle Island, Covenant.

And then I would try to avoid prebuilding settlements which are close together like The Slog + Finch Farm, I would just choose either or for a playthrough. I also avoid manual building at too many locations. I'd usually choose a couple more places for manual building. These for me were usually mod added settlement locations.

I also would try to avoid too many script heavy mods or performance hitting mods and I'd also switched to playing at 1080p instead of 4K. Definitely nothing that breaks precombines/previs, or for other reasons if a mod causes noticeable FPS drops while in or near settlements or if it does so in general. FPS drops can impair the game's ability to handle scripts as well as it otherwise could if maintaining continual 60fps. So it's beneficial to try make sure the game is configured in a way that is manageable for current hardware.
