This thread is to provide a one-stop shopping experience for issues found in Conqueror.
This will help the community find solutions to recurring or already addressed issues, and help @kinggath monitor new bugs that are actually bugs.

Please check here to see if your issue has already been raised. If it has not, please make a new post and it will be added to this list. I intend on updating the list several times per week (the goal is daily but life is a thing) so please be patient.

This is for Conqueror specific issues, not Sim Settlements in general. There's a whole different forum for that. Yup, I'm limiting the scope to something I can handle.
Direct Message me if a posted issue in this thread has been resolved. It will help me keep this updated.
Issues that are raised here that are legitimate bugs will have a post made in the Conqueror Bugs section of the forum with a link back to the originating post. I will update the status in this list and make a post on the originating thread that the issue is now being worked as a Bug.

The method I will use for the list will look something like this (WIP until we find out what works best):
Issue: A brief but descriptive title of the issue.
Original Thread: A link back to the original thread(s) that discuss the issue. This can be very helpful as there is often a great deal of detail about the issue there.
Status: A quick summary of where resolving the issue is.
Details: The long answer.

Example:
Issue: Crash to Desktop / Hanging on Conqueror Start-up
Original Threads: CTD and Stage 1/4 Forever
Status: Mod Conflict
Details: Conqueror is a beefy mod that takes a lot of resources on startup. If you're experiencing a crash to desktop or Conqueror fails to progress at all, it is a mod conflict. Strip your mods down to the very basics, start a new Conqueror game, and let Conqueror run to completion while inside Vault 111. It's suggested that you console save the game and back that save up. Once complete, re-load your mods and have fun!

Status levels:
Off the top of my head, I can see the following status levels.
  • Research: It's a new issue and is being looked at. The more details that can be provided in the original thread will help speed research up. Generally a list of mods being run and a step-by-step description leading up to the issue goes a long way to replicating and troubleshooting an issue. "Conq busted" doesn't do anyone any good.
  • Bug Reported: The issue has been logged as a bug on the bug forum.
  • Bug Fixed: The bug has been fixed in a Patch. I aim to have the patch level listed here but am afraid to commit to that so...
  • Mod Conflict: The issue was due to a mod conflict. The details will provide a work around if possible and ideally the actual mod that caused the conflict.

Issue: Invincible Mole Rat

Status: Bug Reported and slated for fix in the next patch
Details: Starlight Drive-In has an invincible legendary mole rat that kills all the things. It can't be removed and continues to kill all the things. Kinggath will work his magic and kill this thing dead. This issue could (has?) happened in other Settlements that have monsters to clear out.

Issue: Multiple Faction Packs leave bodies behind

Status: Bug Fixed but needs to propagate
Details: There was a bug in the Faction Pack pack of factions that kinggath handed out to peeps. The issue was fixed in the pack of factions but each mod author has to incorporate that into their specific faction packs.

Issue: The beginning quest gets stuck after the first raid.

Details
: The quest gets stuck after completing the first raid. Even using the console commands to move it won't make it budge. Jammer's jammed again.

Issue: Quest Hall of the Toilet King dialog breaks

Status: Fixed in 4.0.6.
Details
: The quest dialog has a smaller area than it should. If the player gets outside of this area, the dialog breaks. It's being worked on. Please see the original thread regarding how to proceed until more fail safes are implemented.

Issue: Headless Gunman Loop

In short, after completing the headless gunman (And not getting any updates for Ophelia as she's stuck in some kind of trading loop), I still continuously get new notificiations over whether I've gotten more nuclear material

Issue: Armory Plot Assigns/Unassigns in a cycle

: The Armory plot repeatedly goes back to unassigned. Update: The Mess Hall and Medic plots do the same thing.

Issue: Faction Pack = Hostile Allies
Original Thread: Faction recruits (minutemen) turning hostile

Details
: Whether a single or multiple faction packs are installed, there's an issue where allies are hostile to the PC.

Issue:Slave Outpost Raid kills all but 2 settlers.

Details
: Edit: A bug already exists about this (but taking the Slog as a Vassal so I changed the status to Bug Reported and provided the link there) After a successful Slave Outpost run, all but 2 of the settlers died. It's my understanding that the settlers are supposed to go into 'bleed out' mode and wait for the raid to be over. Once its over, they're supposed to stand up and become enslaved.

Issue: Jammer jammed again after 1st raid.
Original Thread: Can't Progress "In it for the Money" past first raid
Status: Mod Conflict
Details:
Jammer's dialog gets stuck after the first dialog. Console commands fail to step the quest. The original thread has the Show Quest Target data.

Issue: With 4 faction packs running, none show up in the War Desk
Original Thread: War Desk not showing factions. I have 4 installed to test
Status: Not a Bug with War Desk / can't replicate
Details: Work around: Delete the War Desk and build a new one.
I'm not sure how to report this one as it is likely involving a bad Faction Pack that is stomping on the others. The original thread contains details to help narrow down the problem but it sounds like the Minutemen Faction Pack has a bug that is preventing all of the Faction Packs from loading.
