Solved Computer Research Assistant quest

The Computer Research Assistant quest from the Circuitry Lab (Industrial Revolution) is asking me to find Weapons-grade Nuclear Material, however no quest markers are showing up to find it.

From reading other posts, it's supposed to spawn in a box in the Armory next to the National GuardTraining Yard. I couldn't find it in there. I spawned the item in via console commands, but it wouldn't advance that way either.

I tried finding the questID to manually advance the quest, but it didn't come up with the "sqt" command.

I tried rebuilding the plot from tier1 back to t3, but it doesn't change the quest at all.

Does anyone know of a way to reset it, complete it, or advance past it? Thank you!

PS Just an incredible mod and I couldn't imagine playing the game without it ever.

EDIT: Was able to get past it with console commands, listed below under a spoiler tag.

I started a new save to test any conflicts with other mods I have, but this time the quest marker appeared for me just fine. I restarted the quest about 12 times total, and got a list of three different locations it can send me to:
Federal Rations Stockpile
National Guard Training Yard, Armory building.
S. Boston Military Checkpoint.
Always in the green chest at the location.
However, I visited all three locations on my main save and it wasn't in any of them. So it seems if the quest gets bugged, you can't go find it on your own. It needs to have the marker to advance. So I'll need to find a way to remove the quest from the log, or complete it via console commands.

I have the same issue. There is no marker for the Weapons-grade Nuclear Material and I can't go any further on the quest. Can anyone post something to move the quest along?

I got past it! This solution is for PC only, since you need to use the Console Commands (the ~ key on keyboard by default).

The questID in my case was 0a00c254. I found this by running this console command: help research 4 qust (this listed various quests with the word "research" in them, and includes questIDs for other Sim Settlements quests if needed).

setstage 0a00c254 40 (this sets the quest to having found the nuclear material)
player.additem 0a036d25 1 (this adds 1 weapons grade nuclear material to your inventory. Your itemID for the Material may be different. You can type: help nuclear material 0 to find it)
Then you can turn the item in to the Input receptacle under Mr. Genius.

you can see the other stages of the quest by running: sqv 0a00c254 (look for iStage. That's how I found stage 40 was having located and picked up the Weapons grade material). You may need that for in case of other problems.

Thanks I'll try this out.
So I did.
My quest had a different reference number. I used help like you said and found that. I set the stage to 40 and got that to work.
The item ID number did not. How do I find the item code for the Weapons Grade Material on my system?

@Baravakar Weird, I didn't get any notifications about your posts. Sorry about that! Glad you figured it out though. For testing purposes, where did you build your Circuitry Lab when it had problems? Mine was built in Mechanist's Lair and I had bugs with any quest markers for the rest of the quest chain. However, in another game I built in Sanctuary and it worked just fine.

Also, I've now finished it successfully so if you need any help/hints/answers just let me know. Hopefully I'll get the notifications this time.

Were you able to complete the entire quest? I'm stuck on the part that I have to disable the EMP Emitter.

I was, yes. However, my questline was bugged pretty much every step of the way for some reason (possibly to do with building the Circuitry Lab at the Mechanist's Lair, so I had to use console commands quite a bit to get through it.) I did the questline start to finish in Sanctuary without any bugs on another save.
I'll post the EMP part below:
There is a computer terminal on the outside of the Circuitry Lab. When you use it, it'll have you play a quick game. After winning 3 rounds of the game, the EMP will be disabled.

LOL. I had been stuck on that forever. Thanks for the help!

Sorry for the delayed response.

The plot was in Sanctuary. I play on PC. After I wait for the next step, the same issue occurred (no marked locations). I decided to reset my mods and restart the game.

I was using S.C.R.A.P. Everything which combined with Sim Settlements seems to have created a lot of bugs. I dropped that mod and restarted from exiting the vault. I have not gotten back to having the Circuitry Lab, but when I do. I let you know if there are any issues.

Desperately need help. Stuck on shutting down the robot uprising. I'm just locked in the building, the 4 terminals relocked so I just solved the puzzle again. Nothing else seems to change.

I'm stuck at the exact same point. The settlers are outside fighting and i don't find anything i can interact with. If i try to talk to the robot, nothing happens.
