Communication Center?

What is the purpose of the Communication Center? You likely already have a Recruitment Beacon at each settlement. How does it work with Caravans? I still rely on the Supply Convoys to help get the smaller settlements to grow.

It allows you to send out salvage teams as well.

In addition to what the other two said, it ALSO claims to have a better rate of pulling in "settlers with higher SPECIAL stats".

IIRC, it is supposed to stop recruitment if you have no unassigned residential plot "slots" I can't remember for sure and I have not verified this for myself.

So once I have almost a dozen people in a settlement then I can put in a Communications Center and get rid of the Recruitment Beacon. I can can NOW start getting quality people instead of garbage people.
And a problem I have with Caravans and Salvage Teams is that they only deal with Virtual stuff much like the Industrial plots do. I still need to collect my own stuff for use at the Workbenches (Armor & Weapons) and to add stuff to settlements like turrets, generators, etc. And I still have to use Supply Convoys if I want to share that stuff with other settlements.

Its better than having to hump around the commonwealth looking to have to meet both needs. Let settlers do more of the work they should be doing anyway. Focus more on your junk needs and less on settlement junk needs.

Be better if we had access to the stuff generated by the Industrial plots and other virtual sources.

You don't HAVE to do all their little quests or recruit them. In fact there's a couple I deliberately don't even go close enough to trigger auto-dialog with, although I believe all of them have a "not interested" option. They'll just hang around once they've spawned though, should even walk between your settlements if that works properly.

Why would you even play a mod with such awesome NPC's and such cool stories and NOT do their stuff and experience the full meal deal? Like seriously though why? That's like saying I am only going to play chapter 1 and 3 and 5 and none of the others. As an example.
