Question Claim Bunker Hill Early?

Hey all!

I did some browsing of the forums and the Nexus page but I'm not sure I saw an answer to this yet, or if anyone has experience to share. I apologize if this has come up before and I'm just blind...

I have tons of ideas for building in Bunker Hill but I want to advance the main quest relatively slowly. IIRC you can't "formally" get access to Bunker Hill's workshop until fairly early in Act III and my immediate gratification side can't stand it anymore! I recall in Sim Settlements there was some cursory warnings about doing too much outside-the-box stuff with settlements that had quests associated with them, but if I wanted to instead gift myself build access to Bunker Hill with Claim Settlement around the time Kessler lets me put down caravan posts in my other settlements, will I break anything down the line?

Thank you!

Yeaaah, that's what I'm worried about, if it will somehow conflict with quest triggers or anything that I couldn't fix later with the console. I was hopeful someone braver than I may have already done it.

Oh well, I will report back in a few weeks for Science! for those that come after. :)

I've been meaning to, but I keep breaking my game in other exciting ways, or just restart because of yet another crazy cool mod.

In Fo4, “more is always better. That is until it isn’t.”

If you don’t break it, then you need to try harder.

If you truly finish a game without breaking it then you have lost a golden opportunity to learn how to set-up your next even more awesome playthrough. This is also the best time to try all those awesome new mods you were holding out on. A wrecked game is a really good game.

I think after playing several thousand hours it is no longer about playing Fallout 4 (Fo4), but molding your next game into something like “Fallout You.”

Hahahahaah (FoY), Yes that is it! Fallout You!
:blush
Fallout WetRat, or Fallout Wet, does concern me :dance FoY seems safe :!bear:

Yes, I know. I am a FREAK. :crazy

Over the years... how many times have I seen poor shaun... sad reality is I have never seen him as an adult (my private sin)... I never choose a faction... I am worried if I do, finish the game, then .... I won't play it again... :)

Oh-man!
I said the exact same thing to @VersusXV last night. That is why after having all the DLC for all this time I still haven’t gone to / played Nuka World.

Maybe I am not so :crazy After all? :rollseye ha! At least I have good company if I am :drinks

I'm weirdly worried about the same thing which is why when I looked into how you acquire Bunker Hill and how close you had to get to the ending for it I started eyeballing the Claim Settlement option.

The most I've done is trip the switch for the Prydwen to appear, far enough to get a bunch of interesting stuff to activate but that's about it.

Do eeet. You’ll love it ;)

Op, you don’t have to do the Battle for Bunker Hill. I haven’t. I believe that (if you are associated with the Railroad) that you will get it soon after blowing up the Institute - like maybe the next time you go there and talk around. :)
