Looks like it, Will wait until it gets closer but given it is a follow on from the current MQ of SS2 I would assume that most people would know about Gunners Plaza yet and would be "introduced" to it through SS2 now
 
You can kill Hammer twice in West Everet Estates, since he's included in the quest there. You can see the first guy as a decoy... or a synth.

Yeah, I noticed that, too, after I got done laughing at what funny names the brothers have: Hammer and Nail.
 
Humm - After watching the latest trailer for SS2 Chapter 2 I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing by making all my settlements fortresses - walls around all settlements, 400+ defenses, arming all settlers to the teeth with high damage weapons and armor (I use the modern firearms mod). If the gunners can take over settlements without firing a shot, I'm going to have a hard time getting my own settlements back.

That was half the fun in Conqueror1, if it works the same here it will actually make challenging combat encounters. Unsure yet how this ch2 actually works though, it could well just be a one off story thing for 1-2 quests..
May need to track down a certain MIA Brotherhood Scribe with the Demolitions Expert perk, though...
