Tell me please. Is there a console command to make ss2 caravan services work? I put a section of caravans in one settlement and in another ( very close to each other ) . There is no line , the caravans do not work .
 
No console commands for that but just make sure the caravan plots all have power and a settler assigned to them, and what’s close? It reaches from about sanctuary to tenpines so longer then that doesn’t work.

The settler is assigned to the caravan site, the site is connected in the settlement of Century Hills and Abernathy - there is no connection. I tried to connect the Sanctuary Hills with the Red Rocket -there is no connection . I tried , I tried , I tried - there is no connection with Starlight , and with ten pines - there is no connection . At each site (built in these settlements) of the s2 caravans, the sensor outputs information that the settlement is not available for communication. There is no line on the map , no shared resources . I waited three days for the game , I thought the script was slowing down . To no avail. The latest ss2 version of the s2 version correspond to each other.
 
On the last stream they said they are working on a fix for the caravan stuff so I’d guess they will drop some patches soon.

Mine work for the most part but I run a minimal load order it’s mostly ss2 chapter 2 some addons and weapons stuff.
 
Have you tried turning off maintenance/operating costs? Sometimes those don't work as expected for me (will work remotely but in the settlement things are off and such). Try turning off those settings and refreshing the plot. I don't recall ever seeing a message about communications if my settlement was out of range. Are you sure you build the Caravan plot and not the Communications plot? Instead, it would just list 0 for all virtual resources. This happened over the weekend, I could not get the Castle to connect unless I got Jamaica Plains. So I was really confused when I saw the line on the provisions map from the Castle to Hangmen's Alley, but no virtual resources. Getting Jamaica Plans fixed it. Also, I don't think its needed, but perhaps try getting the Local Leader tier 1 perk? Alternatively, you could try IDEK's Logistics mod. It provides a caravan plot. It is what I use to connect the majority of my settlements. Also, if they are assigned to the plot, you don't need to manually set them on a supply line, should be automatic.

Thank you for your concern, but.... I hasten to disappoint you. I'm not new to playing with the same sim settlement mod, I've been playing for the third year in a row. Sections of the sim settlement mod and addons that I can install - find out with your eyes closed. I've been playing since the settlement simulator 2 came out a year ago with Aidek plots. Due to the fact that Aidek is not updated synchronously with sim settlements 2 , its sections suddenly stop seeing the resources of another settlement, although the line is laid. I already wrote a post below that I started a new game and first checked the collection of my mods with the new version of sim settlement 2 . I ran on the console command (tgm) on the sim settlement 2 quest before receiving municipal plots - everything was fine , nothing foreshadowed . The caravan sites of Sim settlement 2 were installed in five villages - there are lines, resources see each other. ....I started a new game again to start the passage honestly , but alas, having reached the hundredth time in the plot of obtaining municipal plots, the plots of the caravans of sim settlement 2 suddenly stopped working - there is no connection ... no.
 
Sorry to hear that your Caravan Services aren't showing the supply lines on your Map and are not working as they should.
And you've said that the Resources Panel is not showing the "Caravan Network" so your settlements are not receiving virtual resources.
I don't believe we can help you resolve this, as you've said, you are an experienced modder.
If the Caravan plots have power, are assigned and are within range of other settlements, they should work.

Caravan Services are receiving an update in the HQ Upgrade Release coming soon. There will be a beta release available for everyone to try if they are interested in performing testing. Hopefully that will fix your issue(s).

If I recall correctly, you have a huge mod list, otherwise I'd suggest posting a link to a save file that someone could review to discover what's causing you trouble.

I don't believe we can help you resolve this, as you've said, you are an experienced modder.
If the Caravan plots have power, are assigned and are within range of other settlements, they should work.

Caravan Services are receiving an update in the HQ Upgrade Release coming soon. There will be a beta release available for everyone to try if they are interested in performing testing. Hopefully that will fix your issue(s).

If I recall correctly, you have a huge mod list, otherwise I'd suggest posting a link to a save file that someone could review to discover what's causing you trouble.
Thank you very much for the news. Unfortunately , I can 't post my saves for verification ....The reason for this is one - I 'm playing with the Horizon mod . I don 't think anyone will take it .....

I understand. I didn't realize you are using Horizon. The wiki lists a patch for SS2 and Horizon. I don't know if it will help (I have never used Horizon), but it is worth a try if you don't have it installed :D Also, regarding tgm, I don't know if it has any influence on the virtual storage. I would be surprised if it did though. If the patch works, let us know. It doesn't list anything about caravans, but there is always hope.

I always make it my business to assign vanilla supply lines. Just in case. My Red Rocket contains a robot workbench and nothing else and is basically my major supply hub, in case, any settlement is too far removed to connect to the Caravan system. Or if it hasn't been built yet.
 
I had an issue with plots (including caravans) semi-constructing but when I looked they were hung at Level 0; turning off the construction costs and refreshing the plots seemed to kickstart them.

And I understand you . Thanks for the links . Maybe I demand too much - I want fallout 4 from the game, maybe it is. Well , as for the sim settlement 2 patch and the Horizon mod , it needs to be updated and corrected every time the next version of sim settlement 2 comes out . But he patch ( sim settlement 2 + horizon ) is not updated . Such a patch will hurt more than it will "balance" anything..... I use a fix that was made and updated with each new release of the sim settlement version 2 by fans -fans of fallout 4 . He corrects the injustice ( the impossibility of donations to the city planner 's desk ) And that 's it , I don 't have anything else in terms of compatibility of these two wonderful mods . In the meantime , I will wait for 2 new fixes from the author and the sim settlement team .
