How long does it take for caravan services to be added to a settlement once you have that plot set up?

Or just make the Castle self sufficient it's pretty easy to do. One three person basic farm will do it and a couple vanilla large water purifier and a building supply industry plot

There are a lot of great plot in the add in to explore. I use almost every plot as goto plots from the residents to the industry you name it I use it.

I give up. I put down the IDEK desk and the information it's giving me is wildly incorrect (population of 9 and 2 settlements in network. No, 1 settlement in network and a population of over 14). Guess I'll just wait and concentrate on the caravans.

You need to install the IDEK. Plot mod and stop using desks. They are different mechanics on how they work. The plot does it all no need for desk too or at all.

The desk does act as a caravan but it has a different way it has to be set up and is a pain. The logistics Station plot is the way to go. Or the portable caravan I mention

Sunshine, Starlight and Oberland can connect to Greygarden.

Starlight will connect to Oberland. That is about the max connecting distance I have seen for the Caravan plots.

Nordhagen is the only one that will connect to The Castle. (from the north) I have not had a chance to find out what settlements south of The Castle will connect.

County Crossing will connect to Nordhagen.

Mechanists Lair reaches The Castle too, but it might require a bit of console-command magic to be able to build plots in there.
And from the south, Castle->Vault88 connects, which should mean Castle->Jamaica Plains would too.

So if you have both caravan and IDEK how do the lines show up on the map? Ad would both have provisioners walking?

And again what do you mean both, are you trying to use both plots in the same settlement? You confuse me with this both question. If you ar going to use Ideks stop using stock caravan plots they are useless and just use IDEK plots. One or the other not and never BOTH!!!!!

Okay, so I was confused. I thought you were using both? Or maybe someone else?

IDEK doesn't implement the virtual storage well (or at all) yet so I guess I'll stick with caravan.
