Caravan Network - force manual connection (please help Kinggath!)

Hi guys, I really need help with my Caravan Network. I have a savegame with hundreds of hours put in, and sadly the Caravan Network is experiencing the conventional problems - only some settlements are connected.
I've browsed this forum for so long, I remember reading one thread where Kinggath (the main developer) offered to help fixing a savegame of a person who had problems. I'm not sure if I remember it right, but he said something along the lines of "there's a container/items which regulates the connections".
I would really be grateful and appreciate it if someone provided me with a detailed guide on how to access this particular item and add the necessary connections. All of my settlements have normal supply lines, all of them have a caravan plot, all needs are met, every settlements has a lot of resources and caps. I just need a way to connect all of them so my long played savegame isn't wasted.
Please help!

There is possible mod... with IDEK you place one desk at each settlement and assign a setter to it and it connects everything automatically. Though this doesn't share virtual resources of SS2 if I'm not mistaken.

IDEK's Logistics Station 2? In my game it share everything I think

That's the one I'm using too- I don't have SS2 installed this time around so I couldn't test it with SS2 'virtual' resources, though I know it shares and resources including things like food and water between settlements.

Thank you guys, after a while I decided to give it a shot and it worked - it connects virtual resources too, if you choose the "empire settings" enabled. One settlement (Croup Manor) still had problems, so I used to terminal in IDEK's mod to change the "priority connection" - it was connected by finch farm through kingsport lighthouse, and I changed it so it's connected directly to finch farm, and then it's connected to Kingsport Lighthouse.

This mod should really be recommended as number 1 mod for SS2. I know it's unfair to blame SS2 for all of the bugs, but it's also unfair to not blame it for them either. I've had three long playthroughs in SS2 and in all of them Caravan Network was bugged, up to a point of not connecting anything whatsoever.
HQ system is a real mess too, I dread to reach it in my currect playthrough. I wonder if there is going to be a bugfix at all. As much as I love SS2 I love the general notion of "mods" more, and if I had to choose between SS2 and mods I'd choose mods. Which is, of course, funny, because SS2 is itself a mod.
A mimosa flower among mods.

I know it's unfair to blame SS2 for all of the bugs, but it's also unfair to not blame it for them either.
Very true. I think the bigger issue is time. This is a huge project by volunteers that have irl obligations. Also the number of people with the skill necessary to hunt bugs is few. Then couple on the fact that many reported bugs are not actually bugs but mod conflicts. Then the difficulty level is increased as users seem unwilling to research into things and post steps to reliably trigger the reported bug.

/mini rant
