Do i have to download every file to work, I don't get it. :-(
Weird you never used it, that looks menu is so popular so idk what the hype lolDid you check nexus comments? There's an optional file that supposedly helps. Never used looksmenu so idk :/
It's really nice to quickly design custom characters using presets or to have finer 'granular' control over the npc's meshes(like adding extra adjustment points or indicies at certain 'body' locations) allowing much better customization for differeing body types. IIrc for everything to work I think it requires outfit studio? Don't quote me on that though...Weird you never used it, that looks menu is so popular so idk what the hype lol
From what I can tell... the only requirements for the file is CBBE(there's both a nude and non-nude version) but the other files are mods that use that preset- so those aren't required(the requirements page). I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, of extra files(on the download files page) are different skin options(like shiney wet kindof skin) and a few others- different options to customize the preset. From what I read, the preset is available as '16' from the character creation menu- for that, I'm guessing it's in the vanilla preset list when building your character. With looks menu presets you'll get a list with the names of the presets.

It also really easy to change hair styles colors along with eye colors if you have those installed- like Eyes of Beauty and Apachii Hair!@Mystical Panda So that's why the Looksmenu is so popular because of the body types and all with the CBBE, this makes sense now
Yes... It really 'extended' the customization options for the player's character and allowed for very diverse body types.@Mystical Panda So that's why the Looksmenu is so popular because of the body types and all with the CBBE, this makes sense now
Now I love the hair ones but the thing is whenever I use a hat or headgear.. it bleeds through. It also really easy to change hair styles colors along with eye colors if you have those installed- like Eyes of Beauty and Apachii Hair!
Omg YES instead of these Skimpy adult ones floating all over gah!! I really agree!!Presets need to be in their own spot in the FO4 mod spot. The easiest way Ive found to locate the place it should be is to make a new character and save the looks menu preset "New presets go here" Then I just search my computer for that file and there you go :D
That is an unfortunate side effect with certain meshes as they're not designed to 'disappear' when wearing things like a hat(think top, sides and back as two separate categories- with a hat you remove the top hair leaving the sides so the hat covers the open areas)... and some of the meshes will clip through. Now I love the hair ones but the thing is whenever I use a hat or headgear.. it bleeds through.
Exactly how i noticed it too! That is an unfortunate side effect with certain meshes as they're not designed to 'disappear' when wearing things like a hat(think top, sides and back as two separate categories- with a hat you remove the top hair leaving the sides so the hat covers the open areas)... and some of the meshes will clip through.
