I took over Greygarden as a vassal. I don't have the setting to have control over vassals. A while later White asks me for help -- the ol' send 'em over to the Super Mutants and clear out of the water plant thing. Usually when GG is a vassal the quest dialogue starts up but gets cut off and you don't get the quest at all (I expect this actually). Notwithstanding I do get the quest, complete it and now have full access to the settlement. Uh . . .. Ok.
Later, GG settlement attacked, all of my raider guards are dead there, but GG isn't in the list for settlements to send my raiders too. This applies to SS's NPC-specific feature of Moving/Changing Roles or the Workshop Move. Basically, I cannot move any raiders there by any way I know except as Patrols.
In the same vein I have a different (liberator) faction going at Tenpines. For whatever reason I am getting a bunch of Settlers from the recruitment beacon, which I believe might be typical liberator way of doing it because the settlement was liberated, right? I discovered that I could Move those settlers to my regular raider Slaver Outpost at Oberland! So now I have regular settlers working plots at a slave outpost alongside slaves. Trouble in Denmark, good King?
