WhooHoo. Nice, maybe even immersive?

Got tired of the longjohns. Not paying 150 caps to a lady in longjohns :) Longjohns normally means just the opposite of anything brothel :( so I thought I would experiment. Happy I did.

I was surprised by two things. :aye:

1. Both NPC's associated with the Brothel their looks were editable with console commands, more so the one on the left where I changed the preset in "SLM" cool! Normally when the ID starts with "ff" this can be problematic. As is both were completely editable in the Looksmenu even though their ID's started with "ff".

2. The other nice thing is after changing their outfits "openactorcontainer 1" and refreshing the plots the one on the right was the only one to revert to a vanilla outfit. Still, it was only some outfits so still playing around.

Neither NPC's after restarting the game got the doughnut face where everything distorts like they got stung by bees or something!

This really makes this plot much more, humm "entertaining" ;)

This makes me wonder just how editable the other SS-NPC's are who sandbox at each settlement.

Note: nothing posted here is an edit to your mod with FO4edit just console commands.

"openactorcontainer 1" was one I found to fix the diamond city guards in their underwear before I was told how to fix it in FO4edit.

The Ladies clean up nicely. Think I’ll call them Sweetie and Spicy. When I refresh the plot Spicy keeps her clothes on Sweetie reverts back to some type of raider garb, though both maintain their new looks. Must be an armor slot or mod vs vanilla thing as the modded-feather dress seems to get stashed. So, good not to fix-em-up too nice of stuff with ADV -MK5 ballistic weave. Just go back a save if they steel it.

Tonight, maybe I’ll see how they handle some different weapons. I am sure will they defend themselves but see what happens if the plot upgrades not just refreshing it. Also, see how they spawn if I rebuild the plot. I assume they will revert back? Determined to figure out ways to make all these additional non-settler NPC’s more useful or interesting around the settlement even if it is just aesthetically. Also going try out a few of the others added by SS to see how they react to changing their weapons and garb.

Eldarth, Just having fun. No questions or problems. Just posting this as a change to just reading about problems or how to get authors to do everything with SS. Just wanted to babble about some of the fun stuff inherent in the game and how SS and it’s add-ons enhances this experience. Love your mod as is! Thank you!

Off topic but is there away to fix an npc whose face has been turning into a bee stung mess after a reset? I tried to change Conny Abernathy and ummm I clearly messed up somewhere a long the line.

I haven’t found one other than going back in a save. What I do now is save their current vanilla preset. make the change. then immediately save and exit the game. then open that save up and see if they got goofified. At that point you can see if the change took or go back a save or reapply the original preset. sorry.

I learned the same way with the gals at bradford station. sometimes they take, better luck after the initial quest. bummer if you change them and then come back after a few days just to “THAT” :crazy

@RayBo There's a Multi Tool that is does away with a lot of the console commands used to mess with NPC's. It's from that other site.. so just search for
Crazy6987 Multi-Tool & Other Things
It also includes a few weapon mods.. the Push Force is an lot of fun!
haha, I’ll check it out. When not at work. 0:D

If Connie is still messed up in your game send me a PM with an email or link and I'll send you her vanilla-preset.
I deliberately had her stung to make sure the preset brought her back.

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
The Ladies in the Brothel are definitely "Lovers not Fighters". 20180522215558_1.jpg

Even just winging them ends sadly :(

Sweetie and Spicy much appreciated going back to the earlier save.

But all of them including the SS-sandboxers seem to benefit from a little SLM love and attention.and don't get the I'm allergic to bees face even though the IDs start with "ff"

@RayBo No worries! If you find any outfits that I'm allowed to copy assets into my mod, let me know. I definitely want to expand on them but the only vanilla outfits I could find and randomize were the raider "underwear" outfits.

And I definitely think they won't do much defending, I pretty tightly sandboxed them to stay as close to their little rooms as possible and make them cower rather than fight.

Oh, also, Brothel only has a level 1 currently. Not very much free space for upgrading anything.

Eldarth, I completely understand the underwear you picked. :good "Really no-way to say that one to another guy without getting a few snickers about the nickers". :secret

I was just hoping to show folks how much fun this one plot can be, and point out that the NPC's in your Add-on and the larger Sim-Settlements were editable, maybe allowing some folks to play around with them in their settlements. The only one level and cowering are just fine, absolutely no complaints.

Really, my only intent here was trying to post was "some fun" instead of requests or problems.

Thank you for such a good time!

Now for the more sensitive of us who were worried that I actually shot Spicy in the head. She is fine and never looked better!

Spicy is OK folks.jpg

I wonder if anyone has gotten the "discount" price -- I tried to scale their companion rate based on what the player was wearing - so maybe low levels with junk armor would be allowed some cheaper snuggle time. :poohlol

So I have had the mod since it first came out. What is the path to getting the cathouse up and running? I'm thinking of setting one up at Nordhagen.

HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING on the POSSIBILITIES of an Easily UNLIKELY occurrence of myself ever POTENTIALLY having ̶I̶N̶T̶E̶N̶T̶I̶O̶N̶A̶L̶L̶Y̶ er' MISTAKENLY visited said "Other Site" and in an OFF CHANCE scenario STUMBLED across a Crazy Gun Mod, Id PROBABLY say that gun was MAYBE the best Fun to be had applying otherwise tedious code strings typically done at the console with instead just a few button-clicks that are readily capable to strip clothing, force on/off stillness to edit appearance and also accesses the inventory of any NPCs. And in addition to that, it grants accesses to the full suite of LooksMenu including hairstyles and skintone if the proper files are loaded and made available to the mod.....AND ALL THAT wrapped nicely in the skin of a suppressed Laser Pistol!
That's all IF I were to ever visit that "other site" HYPOTHETICALLY speaking of course... :whistle3

Ohh YEAH Spicy IS FINE! What Preset is that or is that all manual edits?
And regarding the "donut face", Poor Lucy Abernathy and her melons... I did SOMETHING I've yet to figure out and now, as a result, every time I go back to Abernathy Farm I have to fix her because that donut face keeps COMING BACK!?!

This preset seems to stick on Lucy, at least in my games.

https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32817

I like it and it seems to fit her character well.

Spicy, I need to look in my presets. hahaha, if I can find it I'll send you a link to the json.
She turned out well but I can't remember if I saved that one. I'm a dummy :crazy

NooOOooOo!! No brothel on the list!?!
:help :umnik2 :(
I just downloaded and installed the mod in my 'pre-raider build' so I can blueprint it. The aquarium and Roman Bath both show up... but no brothel. I have a sad.

It's an interior plot.
You may need to redownload his mod.
I've had that issue before and reinstalling the add-on fixed it

It's there!
Interior Commercial, Brother by @Eldarth.
Perfect.

I think my issue was I loaded the mod, hoped in the game and built the plot immediately. SS needs a bit of time to read through all the Add Ons I have. That requires patience (in like... minutes) and that's where it all falls down.

Thanks for your reply. It made me double check before I went back to Nexus Mod Manager.
