Best Practices/Tips & Tricks

Has anyone put together a list of "suggestions" to get the best play-through of SS2? For example, which kind of plots and how many should be used to gain this advantage or benefit? Or, which attributes should you work on for your settlers compared to others? Suggestions on fighting off disease and death? Are certain settlements more important than others? Should you clean a settlement (Raze My Settlement/Clean My Settlement) prior to laying down plots or a city plan?

I'm not talking about actual spoilers or anything, more like a "Best Practices" list. I've found a lot of suggestions and ideas by skimming this forum but it would be easier if all of this info was compiled into a tidy list.

Just my thoughts.

And please, how the heck to get progress in the HQ. I dont want to hear any more a our bathrooms but can't fix it....

And nothing else progressing, fustrated

I do know that on the wiki they have the tech tree and when you check out each plot type, it gives the prequisites to unlock the plot types, including unique plots. And with the advanced plot types, they show which SPECIAL requirement gives extra output. All of it is available on the wiki if I'm not mistaken. The wiki is a great source of information. I know I've used it a ton. But to go along with the wiki, a single guide with hyperlinks to specific wiki pages and an organized 'master list' of sorts and 'tips and tricks' would be pretty useful.
