Maybe I'm missing something but while trying to test the change in "Your First Addon" Tutorial I don't see the Change Building Skin option in the Customise Plot list of the ASAM Sensor when activated. Help?

Good! I saw this post this morning but couldn't figure out what could stop the option from showing. I'm very glad you got it solved. Onwards to greatness!!! Glory to the Brave!!

I've been racking my brain trying to remember this issue (He pulls out the OLD CARD) but to no avail. It had to be something I was doing wrong in the tutorial for adding different skins. :shok
First thank you for answering. Second the OLD CARD would be far more believable, if this forum was about a game, which was originally released in DOS :blum.
Seriously thank you for responding, I will just keep trying and crossing fingers.

Hi,
I know this is an old post, but since I seem to run into a similar problem. How did you get it solved?
There seems to have been an error in the xEdit scripts in the first version of the Addon Maker’s Toolkit, so this could have been why your new skin doesn’t show up. It was updated Jan 12th, so if you have the older version getting the newer scripts should hopefully help.

Though - when I think about it the skin tutorial isn't using the xEdit scripts, so it should still work. You were testing on a new save, one that hasn't had your new addon enabled earlier?

Uhm Yes, I tried a savegame which has only Sim Settlement 2( workshop + Hud), the unofficial Patch plus the stuff I need for Buffout 4 to run (mostly because I am too scared to try to remove them). And yes since it isn't using the xedit scripts I had no success. So I will probably try get an even fresher save by the weekend and try again, and least that's the plan :blush.

I have no clue why, but after removing anything I suspected belonging to B4 and revalidating all my game files, it now works! Thanks to Steelbuns and Tinuvia for taking the time to answer!!!
