After a successful assault, some of the soldiers from whatever assault I just completed appear to become aligned to my faction. They will stay in the settlement and count towards my total guard/warrior count in the HUD, although I don't have the normal controls for them, e.g. change role/change outpost.
Specifically I am playing as the Minutemen Liberators, and after assaulting and vassalizing Abernethy Farm (held by the Children of Atom), 4 Children of Atom neophytes stick around after the assault and then proceed to man all the guard posts. And I don't see any in-game option to get rid of them and have them replaced by MM soldiers.
Is this behavior intended?
