I understand every mod manager handles installations differently and im trying to eliminate any installation issues. Currently I have a random issue where after installing h.i. a users settlers refuse to build residential plots. No scaffolding. If absolutely no sim settlement files have been touched and my files required to produce the structures were created the exact way they were supposed to it then im at a loss.

The anomaly seems to clear up after reinstalling the addon or updating it. Which makes me think its installation because the software wouldnt matter as it hasnt changed, just more of the same framework added.

SO the file structure is like this (this is how it was requested that i set it up by several downloaders)

\Home_improvement
\Home_improvement\Data
------------------------------\Materials
------------------------------\Meshes
------------------------------\Textures
------------------------------\kevbal - main.ba2
------------------------------\kevbal.esp
\Home_improvement\fomod
changelog.txt

are you including your loose files as well as your ba2?

That might be part of the problem

the only loose files are those that are new meshes and the supporting material/textures

Is there a reason they aren't in the BA2 though? Maybe I misunderstand something about packaging materials/textures?

the pdf said not to lol, lets finish this conversation on discord i think the anyone looking for help just got the idea.
