Any good mods to have settlers named?

I briefly tried using the newer version of 'Unique NPCs', which among other things, has settlers assigned names instead of just 'settler'.

But, similar to before, it has performance issues. When I approached downtown Boston, I started getting stutter, lag, and frequent CTD's. So I removed it and all is fine, but the settlers are once again just 'settler'.

Are there any recommended mods that rename settlers that will work with SS2, without breaking the SS2 named settlers somehow?

Automatically rename any generic human, ghoul or synth with a real name. Manually rename almost anything else.
