The reason I'm asking this is because I cannot seem to find out if chapter 2 has been released, or if it hasn't, when it will be. Chapter 1 ended with a very good cliffhanger though, but I want to continue darnit!

It hasn't, and there is no official timeline for when, except that it's been reasonably public that they're working on it now (kinggath has mentioned as much in his Youtube videos).
