Question After exporting the game hangs on the next save

So after running into a bunch of issues with the new SS2 quests being broken I decided to export my settlements and start fresh.

Well the exporting worked fine and all. However trying to save after performing an export is causing the game to hang. The time passes for the save (can see sun moving etc) then it just freezes without saving to a file.

I replicated it three times at Sanctuary, Sunshine, and Ten Pines.

The game will save normally as long as I do not export. So I guess it is more of a thing to just plan for the crash.

Nope. I ditched that in favor for the Workshop Framework.

That split power grid tool in Transfer Settlements screwed me over for the last time. :P

I talked with Chef and apparently I was just too impatient when the game froze (it usually never recovers), it apparently unfreezes after a few minutes.
