Question Advanced Industrial plots won't change to selected building plan.

Recently my advanced industrial plots have started acting up. Doesn't matter if it's an old plot or a newly constructed one, but whenever I use the ASAM sensor to change the building plan it simply reverts back to the plan that was randomly assigned to the plot when it was built. Same thing whenever I upgrade a advanced industry, the mod seems to choose randomly even though I choose a specific type. (I have manual upgrades on)

For example: I build a Industry plot - the mod randomly makes it an Oil Well - I change it to a Community Well through the ASAM sensor but it simply refuses to change and remains an Oil Well.

Anyone had the same issue?

Try Rebuild Local date from teh config tools menu in the holotape.
then try and chnage the plot as see if that helps.

Hav u added any mods just before this started?

Rebuilding local data did not help and apart from some small texture mods I haven't done any heavy modding lately.
But I've kinda come to the conclusion that something's broken with the Industrial Revolution part of SS on my installation. Right from the start I've been missing the tech tree option entirely on my ASAM sensors.

The rest of SS and RotC works fine, so I'll just have to make due with basic industrial plot.

Thanks for your suggestions, but Im currently lv 80 on my current playthrough and have spent way too much time on my settlements already. So id rather not start messing too much with my mods.

I'll just change my advanced plots to basic ones instead.

O a manual install wont break ur game ,just a better way of installing huge files.

When you manual install it will overwrite the old version of the 3in1

Manual installation made no difference. Here's my load order but I can't imagine what would cause conflict with just the IR part of Sim Settlements.

I started a new game, rushed to concord to get the holotape and sensors and went back to sanctuary to build some plots. The issue with the advanced industry plots not building the correct building plan has been fixed but I'm still missing the tech tree...

After some more experimentation on my other character, it seems that my advanced industry plots somehow have gotten permanently stuck on randomize. So no matter what building plan I choose it always picks the randomize option. Same when I upgrade them, whatever I option I choose it simply picks a random one.

It's really annoying but still playable, I just have to grind when I choose building plan and save/load when upgrading. The upgrade paths are available online.

Its sounding more like a conflict of some kind but i cant see what mods wud cause this issue for you.
Only sure way to test for that is start a new save with only UF4P and SS1 and addons activated then start adding mods untill you break it again. Its a PITA to do but its the only way to find conflicts :(
