Adding extra plot sizes

I'm just getting back into the game again and I've just hit a thing that I was thinking about last time I played: setting up vault 88 as an SS2 settlement. My problem is that most, if not all, the plots will need to be interiors but the standard 1*1.5 doesn't cut it. Is there a way to inject 2*2 and 3*3 interior plots? I'd rather not just have 1*1.5 plots that spill over into other sizes.

The 1x1, 2x2, and 3x3 plot sizes can also be used for interiors. There is no requirement to inject new plot sizes.
2x2 and 3x3 sized plots usually only have building plans intended for outside, however, if you have room for them inside, you could place building plans for those sizes inside. There may be some that are intended for interior placement.
You can check SS2 Catalog by Samutz to see if there are already 2x2 and 3x3 building plans intended for interiors.
