Hello everyone,

Just letting everyone know, I'm hoping to upload 0.9.5 to XBox on BethNet tonight. I didn't upload right away as this is my first real foray into Quests and I wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up too horribly on PC before uploading to XBox where they can't roll-back.

Since nobody has reported any issues with major quests dying in a ball of fire since I uploaded I'll do that tonight.

If you let us know when it’s up I’ll test it out if you’re interested and there is anything particular you want tried out/confirmed to be working. Haven’t used yours before.

Nah, nothing in particular, I was mostly making sure it wouldn't..say...override literally all text for entire quest-lines and all settler interactions (which it did originally when I first made the quest :P)

Singular at the moment, I'll add more (working my way up to a proof of concept for another idea I have).

Atm it's a fairly basic quest to find some schematics, build a robot, and then install a chip in the robot to make a new Leader.

(Edit: that's not what my mod does overall, I add a bunch of industrial plots and a smattering of other plots, that's just what what this new leader/quest that I added in 0.9.5 does)

Gotcha. The CLAM. Read the plot list page. Familiar with the concept of the add on and I’ve heard good things, but until I recently was forced into upgrading to an Xbox X, I was on Xbox Original, and there’s only so many plots you’re going to get into a settlement, so I just never had the nerve to risk all the crashing I assumed would follow throwing in a bunch of industrials.

Yeah that's fair, plus my addon isn't small which makes it harder for xbox folks to utilize of course (over 100MB currently and going to grow in size most likely with this next round of plots).

Ok, I’ve downloaded it and if nothing else I can let you know how it functions on X.

By the way, is there like a primer on the basic idea behind everything? May sound silly but I’m coming into this fresh so I can look through the plot details and figure out if I want the cool agriculture plot it requires a certain robot factory and there are benefits to building up the scav stations, which I understand you build several iterations of and then they will upgrade to different things - which I think is a brilliant advancement on SS mechanics - but, for example what do I want with all these different kinds of scrap plots?

I mean, I get that if you want a ton of wood or ceramic then here you go, but is there more to it?

The scrap plots are just industrial plots. They give your settlers useful things to do (generating specific types of scrap vs arbitrary scrap.

the robot building factories build robot settlers, that one is a tree, you can produce robot building parts, produce advanced Mods for robots or produce full robot settlers

The scav support building is really just a building to enable me to make "settlement unique" plots (aka: you can only have 1 Dispatcher per settlement, only 1 Sorter per settlement, then all future scav support buildings become either scavver sheds).

Gotcha. I just wasn’t sure if there was more I was missing along the lines of you need a certain robot building for the agriculture plot or martial plot or to get the body built for the quest. Like, maybe you need the wood or ceramic for something else to open.

Oh, gotcha, not currently, no.
