I’m also having issues with this on my Xbox Series X. Hoping for some sort of fix. I could use the city management holotape to skip ahead, but since this is my first playthrough of chapter 2, I really don’t wanna miss any dialogue or anything like that.
Quit the game, use the menu button (one of the three little black buttons in the middle of the controller, with three lines on it) and select manage game and add-ons. From there, go to saved data, then go to the second Reserved Space, the 2.0 Gigabyte one. Then select it, and select to clear...
I’m playing through chapter 2 now. Had to delete most of my mods to download them both (plus purging all the “reserved space” in the system to give me room) but I’m getting to play through it, and it’s fantastic! I do wish the Xbox had more mod space though. The series X has so much more...
Ah! Excellent advice! I am generally eager to upgrade and make my settlements grow as fast as possible, but that’s probably an issue. But yeah, I’ll be sure to pick one and grow it slowly, probably just doing what the quests require and nothing else.
Here’s my load order in order, as put in order by the Xbox mod downloading screen:
Distributed DLC Leveled Lists
Workshop Framework
Sim Settlements 2
Boston - Less Enemies
MacCready Ain’t Missing No Meals
M2 Flamethrower Redux
Creation Club Nuka Cola Fixpack
Beretta M9-FS Pistol...

On the bright side, the latest video from kinggath said they were doing a two week bug testing thing, so hopefully the Xbox update wait won’t be too very long.
Ah. So, maybe just reload a save before the quest starts and just wait for an update eventually? I’ve seen other people saying to make you’ve got 1.01 (I think), so I guess if Xbox doesn’t have that, I’ll just have to wait.
After doing the cache thing, do I just reload the save again? Or reload the save, do the cache thing, and then reload the save?
or just keep going from where I’m at now? I’m just about to do Well Well Well (spent some time wandering around doing vanilla stuff)
Or do the cache thing after Well...
I’ve learned that! I also had a save right as I walked up to Jake at the theater, but no matter how many times I reloaded, without companions, sometimes killing cultists, sometimes not (I’ve looked over other peoples advice), it wouldn’t get him to go inside with me. Which is annoying. I find...
