I've done that. Window still comes back ten seconds later. Like I said, I've tried everything. I even invested hoping I could just bribe these windows to go away.
... and it doesn't matter what I do, every ten seconds it keeps popping up and I can't be rid of it.
I've got all my mods up to date and in order, I've checked and double-checked. I've rolled back to an earlier save, still got it. I really don't want to have to go back further to solve this, but...
Not so much a suggestion as it is a query. Although I suppose it could also be a suggestion if the query comes out a particular way.
Chapter 2 sees Concord inhabited and built up with walls, quest givers move into buildings and we launch our campaign to rebuild the Commonwealth from here. But...
I have involvement turned off (plot cost, SPECIAL traits et al. requirements), 10,000 of each material both in my inventory and workshop, settlers available to build, and yet I have the following prompt.
What might I have possibly forgotten to do, or have done wrong, to cause this? This affects...
EDIT: Once again I am just the worst at managing my time and my build limit. I am so goddamn rusty at this it's unbelievable. 80% structure, two plots, and I'm at my limit. Good Lord, I gotta learn to reign myself in. I haven't even put a single decoration down yet - it's all walls, floors and...
I know that placing plots outside the build area is a big no-no, and I've been told before that some items can be placed beyond the build limit and still be picked up for the city plan. With those points in mind, I have a question:
Is it within the rules to build a player home entirely outside...
Almost, but not quite. The ones used in TPD have a wide entrance - one wall is essentially missing.
I have a feeling that it's a custom mesh, I haven't found one out in the wild as of yet. I'll have to make do with the regular one I think.
Alright, I'm gonna expand my build limit a little more and finish up within the new remaining limit. If my build becomes ineligible to contest, then that's that. I've already got a fairly set vision for this build and it'd suck to get this far and not complete it.
Thanks for the advice!
So when you say I can extend the build limit again to finish off, how much leeway can I give myself there? Going back to Draws and Triangles, which number should I be going by to accurately represent a build limit? Is there another number I should be looking at instead?
Thanks again
:agree:
Right, so I'm at Red Rocket and about 65% done but I've hit the build limit. I'm not so sure if I have though, I've not built much more than I normally would have here... that being said, it has been some time since I've played. Looking for some confirmation that things are running as they...
Sadly mimaef's fantastic Trailer Park Dreams is yet to see a conversion over to SS2, so I'm gonna take a shot at recreating something similar. I can't find the trailer circled in the WRK so I'm hoping I might be able to find one out in the wilds of the wasteland to get it's base ID.
Anyone...
So quick question - there's plots I want to build to see if they'll fit my city plan, but I keep getting notifications saying that the settler I'm assigning needs to have certain Perception or Agility requirements. Is there some way I can bypass this for the build competition?
So I kinda clowned and overestimated my ability to finish this entry on time. Oops!
To be fair I've kinda well and truly overstepped my build limit, and now have no intention of turning back because I have a problem with authority and following the rules (plus I'm still getting good fps), so I...
Honestly, this was my first contest entry and I was only using plots from the base SS mod. I think the only one additional expansion pack I used was IDEK's Logistics Station. I encourage you to experiment with the many, many add-on packs though! There's some top quality content out there!
A curse upon ye house and eternal damnation if ye be wrong
Nah but seriously I myself can't see any reason why it wouldn't be okay.

Just to be certain, I know not to place new plots at lower levels but can I place vanilla assignable stuff at foundation level if they're not going to appear at any other level? I'm wanting to plop vanilla crops of mutfruit and tatos to sustain 4 settlers, but they're gonna be absent from the...
