I like to give my martial plot settlers the drifter outfit and an assault gas mask, or some form of spike armor if they are, for some reason, meant to be defending a hot spot where the enemies spawn.
There is a great mod I use that changes those limits. It removes the cap resource cap, and caps the attack chance, so having several tons of stuff in your workbench doesn't get all your settlements attacked all the time.
Uncapped Settlement Surplus ->...
Speaking of which, I really want to get rid of that. Is there any mod you know of that removes that functionality? I've looked before but didn't find one. All it would have to do is cap each robots individual happiness at 100 instead of 50.
Is there any way we could get a list of the upgrade paths that the Advanced Industrial plots have? I've been enjoying discovering it for myself but I'd like to put certain types of industrial buildings in certain settlements, and I don't want to choose an upgrade now that would impact me...
I actually enjoy using SS with Zimonja. It has to just be a small settlement, of course, but I keep it as a Minuteman outpost, which is what most settlements are for me. They can support themselves, they have artillery, and they can defend themselves. So usually as few as 6 settlers. One for...
I really wouldn't restart. I just spent a couple of days reworking all of my settlements. It wouldn't have taken me that long if I hadn't gotten caught up changing a bunch of details and such. All you need to do is refresh local plots, then take a look at where your settlers are assigned, and...
Hey, so I have three large settlements, and they all have 5 industrial plots. However, my martial plots are all still stuck at level 1. Are there any other requirements for martial plots to upgrade? Thanks.
Yes, my largest settlements grow to 26 people. My charisma, as shown in the stat tab of the pipboy, is at 16. I'm not entirely sure how, though. After they hit 26 they stop growing.
EDIT: Seriously, I have like 3 charisma unaccounted for. Anybody know where this comes from? I've already counted...
Well, I know about the happiness penalty, but sometimes there is no way around it, and the benefits outweigh the bad effects. For each robot I have working an industrial plot, that is either A) One settler who I don't have to provide food, water, and a home for, or B) One settler who can now...
Oh. Well then, that's pretty handy. That means that I can meet requirements without having to build as many residential plots. It will help keep the engine from working too hard.
A follow-up question: What difficulties might arise from using Automatron robots as workers for plots? I assume that they wouldn't be able to upgrade the plot, but what else?
Ok, I reduced the complexity and such of Sanctuary by about 20%, removing some plots, optimizing power lines so there aren't so many to load, and moving some settlers to other settlements. I can now safely fast travel to sanctuary.
Sanctuary was not my largest settlement, it didn't have the most...
Don't get me wrong, I like that as well. Except in cases of pseudo-military outposts, where it makes sense to have (mostly) only martial structures, and have those structures be advanced. Places like Outpost Zimonja and Hangman's Alley, or even the Castle, which is full on a military base and...
