I'm using True Storms as well; I love the weather effects from it. The Rad Storms / Ghoul Horde are pretty awesome, but one of my absolute favourites is the heavy fogs. I love seeing my settlements in the fog.
Hehe. :agree:
Maintaining a long-distance relationship can be rough, so little things like this help us get by. :)
In about a week we'll be picking up Monster Hunter World on PC to play together~
In the meantime though,
And my character in her game:
Glad you enjoyed the pics!
You just reminded me, I completely forgot to put ASE in my modlist, I'm using All Settlements Expanded too. xD Otherwise I don't think Oberland would stretch as far out as it does lol
(I lose track of everything that I have, I'm sitting at 200+ esp's (and a...
I've never actually finished Fallout 4 (working on it now! xD ) so I haven't met all the companions yet, but so far I enjoyed my time running around with Piper & MacCready. I'm slowly raising all of their affinities up and doing their quests; I really liked Cait's final quest; done the...
The first of my settlements to have a specific purpose/idea, I originally got Oberland on a whim on my way down further south for a quest. After that I found myself backtracking to it a lot, and set up two shops to trade off my excess non-scrap loot...
Then one time I returned and they'd grown...
Haha!
I'll be honest though, while I'm not super-knowledgeable about it, I do enjoy reading through all the stuff needed to mod Bethesda games. C:
Small update:
So, I still haven't figured out the culprit that caused my fiancée's issues; but now we're both running new games on a more stable...
Specifically interacting with my settlements/improving them; I know off the top of my hand I've got the SS Year One Mega Pack, IDEK's Logistics Station, a bunch of SS Addons, Icebreaker - Settlements, Better Settlers, Gruffyd's Signs of the Times & Signs and Posters, G2M, Workshop Rearranged...
All Settlements Extended says on its page that it's compatible with Sim Settlements. I'm almost done rebuilding my mod list, will be giving it a shot soon. :)
(also if using AGOMBz, it has patches for the normal ASE + Far Harbour ASE)
Depends, are you asking about mods in general, or just ones that might interact with the settlements? 'cause I probably have about... 20~30 or so that would (in some way, major or minor) have an impact on settlements. My total plugin list however is, uh... much longer to say the least.
Welp scratch that, after explaining that some mod removal/problems stuff might be baked into her save, she decided it'd be easier to wait until I'm done rebuilding a clean install and start a fresh game.
She says thank you for wanting to help though! Sorry for wasting your time :(
She just woke up, we are gonna start troubleshooting. :D
After loading her hard save, the "refreshing local plots" thing started again, making it further than it did yesterday and, after leaving the settlement and coming back, finally finished (in less than 5 minutes). We also found Blake...
I'll get her to try a couple of these, see how it pans out and check back in within a couple hours/days depending on how much mileage we can get out of it and the results we get. For all we know she'll boot back up today and manage a 6-hour session with no issues because goddamn Bethesda games...
Thanks. As soon as she wakes up, I'll have her download and open her save in Fallrim Tools again; first in Vault 111 to see if she's got a bunch of runaway scripts and then again with a hard save in Abernathy to see the difference in load. The last time we checked, she had 2 unattached instances...
If Bethesda officially announce that it's possible to play Co-Op on a private server with just friends and has mod support in the plans, it'll be an instant buy for me. The only thing that could immediately make Sim Settlements better for me right now is if I could build things with my partner...
Aye, had a quick look over it to see if I could spot anything familiar. At first I thought it might be the Overload Crash, but after seeing the log I think it might be a scripts problem. (or are those co-morbid?)
Ruled out the LOD crash because we couldn't replicate it.
Ruled out the AI...
Good morning! Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
My fiancée has been experiencing some intermittent crashing, seemingly specific to Abernathy Farm, while playing earlier. I've tried to help with the best of my meagre knowledge, but I'm stumped and we cannot seem to replicate it...
Thanks! She's currently got an issue that I'm creating a bug thread for, will make her update ASAP afterwards once it's resolved / deemed a lost cause.
Sory for the noob question, but my fiancée's current mod install is still running on 3.3.1-2; is she safe to just download the newest AIO file and overwrite it before continuing her game, or are there specific steps she should take before updating?
