    When controls get borked by those radio messages, or any other oddness, go into command mode and enter prid 14 moveto 14 Exit command mode and that should get you back to where you were, with full control again.

    People who believe the nonsense pumped out by Piper's newspaper claim this is sabotage by a Synth Infiltrators. But we know our dear friends in The Institute would never do such a thing. (To detect them install Settlement Management and activate the 'cheat' in its menu.)

    During an attack, settlers will jump into power armor if it's available. Usually can prevent this by yanking out the fusion core whenever you park your power armor.

    With place everywhere you can select the sensors and move them without moving the plot. I wouldn't move them far, but you can tuck them back or move most of the pole underground. Even if you can no longer click on them when out of building mode, you can gaze over the plot itself and the options...

    City plans offer insufficient power

    Generators, pumps and turrets are your friends. As a settlement gets started I prefer to use the first few settlers for farming and gathering building materials than have them tied up making electricity, water and defense.
