You can try to send settlers from other settlements to those empty villages. They will perhaps "reset" it, or then the settlements they came from will fill up again. At least I hope so :)

Nah, not really. Disable is more or less the same as uninstall. Disable acts as the mod would not be installed.

AFAIK you just need that for big updates. From 1.0.9 to the 2.0 it was neccessary in reason of the changes by the sensors, for example. From 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 it's not a must, in my opinion

Visit NMM, download the new version. Then activ the new version at NMM, normaly the modtool will ask you if you wanna reset/overwrite the old files with the new one. After the activation disable (and delete) the old version. And done :)

Then I would (with a sound of a broken heart) only choose Sim Settlements and Industrial Revolution. I love all the other buildings, but I would need the other mods more :(

Aren't foundations normaly under "houses" ----> "woodhouses" ---> "ground"? At least mines are there :) Or do you ask for something else?
