Thinking about it again.
If I were to look for a place that was quick straight after it happened, then I'd be looking to secure a shopping mall, or supermarket of some kind. Something that could secure the immediate future. But, if it is all based on long term, then look above.
I'd be looking for a place that is good defensively, but also capable of farming and has easy access to water (preferably moving).
Haven't wandered the Wasteland yet looking for such places, so will definitely have to start thinking about it going forward.

Ah man, that makes me want to get in and play. Haven't had a chance to play since the new update. Although I have updated it. This weekend is my first free weekend in sometime so will definitely be putting in some hours to see who I get :D

I would think as it's to try and get people to join over here, and to discuss Kevbal's Home Improvement and Sim Settlements as a whole in once place. Rather than everywhere under the sun.

A thought on my side, would it not be possible to have a plot create a resource, that resource can then either be collected and sold as is or stored in the workshop. When the next building in the supply chain is created it will either take that resource, if available...
Can we promote him to chief engineer, and expect him to take charge of building the settlement he is in? ;)
Just thought about it, how is the mod going to handing having the plot in several settlements? Should we expect to see the same people staying in both settlements or, will there be...

It has been suggested with the Molerat farm (one of the mods) and a butchery. So, hopefully in the future we'll see it.
Quick question, do you have to be directly interested in modding addon's for Sim Settlement, or can we just be innocent bystanders who'd like to casually spy on the discord?
