That process for the quest advancing seems correct. The exact timing can be anywhere from 1-3 days, but should not be longer than 3 days. Also, did you side with Wise by Chance, and if not, who? Odd question for you, are you using any kind of item sorter mod, like FallUI or anything else?

Wanted to touch base with those of you having this issue with the HUD displaying 999. If you check out KGs latest video he does explain this a little better. Part of it is a vanilla game issue, however in the latest update he did address it and try and create a workaround.

You really can't. The ASAM is pretty intrinsic to Sim Settlements and I don't know how you would make it work without the rest of the mod.

The loading issue you are describing is a known base game issue and can be replicated without any mods. I have no idea why it happens, but its maddening to deal with so I understand your frustration. When looking at CPC saves it could sometimes take me 45min to get a save loaded.

I think there was an issue with HUD Framework where that needs to be installed now.

I am really sorry to hear that. If it was on Nexus, we can talk to those folks, but with Bethnet there really isn't anything we can do. We can try, but thats a Bethesda thing.

From my understanding its a simple server load issue. The amount of traffic that anywhere having to do with Fallout 4 is seeing is through the roof.

I have heard that this is a Bethesda issue, and as suck there isn't anything SS2 folks can do about it.
