The story is great and all, but I think it should be an AddOn and optional. Main mod and cps apart from the story. IMO.
Not a fan of the competitions either to be fair. Lot of not great stuff, overbuilt to stand out, and it's become a nightmare to find good cp to use.
I've loved SimSettlements for years already.
I have to say that the new size have me struggling, and curious if a barebone version (like Xbox) will be available for PC?
For going inside buildings, I find it easier with flight turned off. That said, I keep having bumps as in landing constantly with it. Not so sure that is intended.
@Sigmar My early plans included the ILS in ESP version, which I now know was a bad idea. If memory serves me right there is no ILS included in any Industrial CP from me, except Sanctuary. Sanctuary have an optional file without ILS to help with that.
Please try the Optional file for Sanctuary Industrial. It has the ESP version of ILS removed, but fast travel put you straight in front of available platform to put it.
Version 2 had requirements, 1 of which was ISL in ESP version. This is less compatible with most played, so I removed that and made a platform for it to be placed upon. So version 3 is suppose to be without tricky requirements, but instead went "industrial" with plots from Industrial Revolution...
Thanks for the alert @Yagisan
Latest version of it shouldnt have any mods required, and none of my plans require DLC except Vault 88 (obviously).
Another reason may be because another cityplan was active first, then you need to delete the city planners desk and built it anew.
Love this, and the competition announced.
Regarding the competition I have some concerns. Active citybuilder probably have someting going already, and for that reason I'm wondering how you could make sure noone have already started a build on the selected settlement already? In example, would...
When looking at the tech tree in Industrial Revolution you have to "holster your weapon" to close the dialogue. This may respond in same manor, but dont know for sure. Worth a try.
To start a new plan with fresh plots in a full settlement may give you a shortage of food, as I think most plans are based on lvl 3 plots for the full settlement. Good thing if you already have a supplyline or something to that effect.
Cheers.
Put in a CityPlanners Desk if its not there already and just assign a City Leader. City Leader from your companions and they will sort it all for you. No, you dont have to select a cityplan to build for the leader to give effect.
I think it makes a very good cp if you should decide for it.
Place Anywhere requires using F4SE to work, in case you missed that. I know I did first times around trying it. Still a great effort and I like it.
