You trying out the NAC Legacy Edition? I am currently trying it with the GRIM setting.

No, what I have there is a kind of weird set up for weather. I use BRB's texture tool to swap the skybox and weather backgrounds from Vivid Weathers into the game, without actually installing the mod.
While many weather mods are cool after a long time playing I find they just become overbearing.

I am going to try out NAC next month, along with GRIM for Halloween.

Agree with that assessment.

I have been using NAC and PRC for about 3 years now. One thing about NAC is that it comes with a huge array of different weathers. It's a good thing, and a bad one at the same time. Bad because if you are like me and are not a fan of inclement weather every couple minutes, you need to have the setup tape close at hand.

About 8 months ago I tried letting the mod select weathers. Out in the sticks, my framerate wasn't so bad. In the city though, it was a completely different animal because each weather runs via a script... no surprise there. Thing was, the scripts slowed everything down because they were changing up so quick.
I disabled a lot of the inclement weathers via the setup holotape and the problem went away.

Long time no see all, have been away from FO4 for over 1,5 years but now back at it.

Some pics of my current Red Rocket, only 11 settlers and will most likely not expand more, partly because i like how it looks with it being a small community. There also Sanctuary just up the road and Abernathy relatively close too. Some tweaking is needed though.

Found the perfect job for her (don't want to spoil who she is and where she is from though) given her background.

A little on the tight side, might try and rotate the plot 90 degrees to see if it's a little less tight.

Not really happy about the large diner, would have preferred something slightly smaller
(but still larger then an indoor plot) and open air. The idea with the rooftop is to have a
skylight bar/café area where the greenhouse type walls provide wind cover while still
offering a view of the bay. I have two indoor bar plots as well so just need to find
a good café/bistro plot.

The settlement in general has 6 different levels (from rooftop to sea level) where some shacks
are basically just attached to the cliff side. Current population size is 15 and Capacity is one
mayor + 23 settlers. Still room to expand more but probably won't add more then
maybe another cliff shack + one or two internal plots. The inside of the manor needs
some walls for better settler privacy and both the inside and outside needs some lights.
