Is it possible to change the movement while in workshop mode to simply be the same as standard in-game movement?

you can adjust it to be so, in the settings of workshop plus.

Do you mean the weird acceleration experienced when using fast flying? I haven't found a way to fix that except for having a hotkey to toggle off fast movement whenever I need more precise control of where I am going.

I wish the acceleration could be gotten rid of, but I figured it wasn't really something that could be fixed. Since you are still technically "running" your character thru the sky and the character's running animation has built-in acceleration.

You can also use Walking instead of Running, (something nobody seems to do when playing).
Turning off the speed boost does more, but you can do Both if you need fine control.

You can absolutely turn off the speed bump using MCM. I rarely use it at all. You can also toggle other options like flying, and invisibility among other things. Beffore going into flight mode, I would suggest that you make sure you are at regular speed. Reason is, if you are close to the edge of the build area, you can go outside super quick and not realize it.

This is the topic I was looking for. However, from what I've read here I'm not sure it's exactly what my particular problem is. My last save movement was great, move forward, you "run" or fly forward. Stop movement, you stop. Now there's this half second delay before you move and then it goes from slow to zoom in about a second. Disconcerting.

And sometimes there seems to be a tiny warping forward as well, and general movement is very... slippery. You don't stop you sort of slide a bit before coming to rest. It feels wonky and I hate it. I've not changed any settings - use the default on Workshop Plus so I'm baffled why this has started happening. It's really annoying. If anyone figures this out please let me/us know!

Thanks guys.

GAH! Figures, I write that then go start experimenting and first thing I tried worked. Turn "Freeze Time in Workshop Mode" to OFF. Fixed. Good grief.
