I have been having an issue with stretched textures in my settlements and only in the settlements and was wondering if anyone knew any graphic settings I could use to maybe fix this or maybe some other method.
I have dual ROG 1080 ti graphics,32 gig ram and a ryzen 7 processor and know its not a hardware problem.

The post is lower in the thread.

I did check that out and the only difference it made was it fixed my issue with mods that use radio announcements to start their quests that werent working for me.
I have this issue using Vortex and now I use MO2 and it still persists Im also only using Sim Settlements 3 in 1 and a couple of the Leaders mods until I get the hang of it.
I also found it doesnt matter whether I start in the vault or use the Start Me Up mod but I did find out that the mod Raider Children made it worse and stopped using it due to all the issues it causes with the vanilla game and some mods.
I also noticed on this last play through I started that it doesnt start right away its one of those over time things.
I honestly think its on my end and caused by a setting for my video card because I use to get a similar thing in Skyrim but its been so long I cant remember what it was,the only strange thing is it only affects your mod and nothing else I have in game.
Thank you for your reply and Ill keep trying to figure this out.

I have dual Nvidia 1080 ti’s configured in SLI. My settings are posted in the link above. I don’t think it is your video card unless one has gone bad. Hardware problems are a bugger. Disable one card at a time to check results?

If you are talking about items that the textures flair to infinity then I suspect the textures are not getting loaded correctly into the game.

A bad install “ manual install recommend for SS and other large mods”
Or
Mod conflict

that is my 2 cents.

Ok I found my issue it was because I was running my cards in sli.I had my cards tested at a computer shop and they both tested good but I found out from the computer tek that even if a game is designed for sli(especially older games) it may not work well with the newer and more powerful cards and that you may not notice it in the base game, but will notice it once you use certain mods and showed me an article stating that game companies are moving away from crossfire and sli because the cards are powerful enough that its a waste to run dual cards and the only ones winning is the manufacturers pocket books.
Since I set it to single GPU I have no more texture tearing and Im no longer missing objects in your mod and in a couple others I found issues with.
I tried RayBos settings but they made no difference but the strange thing is I didnt have this issue with Vortex,it only started since I changed to MO2 for some reason

Are you using the MO2 option for separate profile settings? If so, are you sure you were editing the profile specific ini files to apply RayBo's settings?

Its starting to look like a driver issue.I went to nividias forum and found that a lot of people with any cards below the new 20 series has been having all kinds of driver issues with games since November so Im rolling back my drivers to before this issue started and see what happens

So I rolled my Nividia drivers back to the 440 versions and got it working again and decided to update my graphics cards but due to all the issues Ive seen on Nividias site and others online with their drivers I decided to try an AMD Red Devil RX 5700 XT and Im really impressed it plays Fallout 4 and my other games I have better than my Nividia cards did in both single card and sli and these game all recommended Nividia.
So if someone else is having issues with stretching or tearing textures or even invisible objects in this mod or others try rolling your Nividia drivers to the 440 versions their still not perfect but they are a lot better than the newer ones.
