I just started a new play through. I took all the Conquest defaults, and started the game. I went to Concorde, and rescued the Quincy survivors, but never led them back to sanctuary, they can do that themselves. Instead I veered off and went to Jammer.
I completed the first quest - being Thoraux, then was sent to Corvega to kill Jared.
On the way, I went past my first city. Starlight Drive-in. It's dark and the city looks amazing with it all lit up and the massive projector going on the screen.
The city is under the control of The Gunners.
I see/hear gunfire and I can see that the city is defending itself...against Gunners. It appears that some marshall defence plots are attacking gunners, who are firing back, and turrets situated around the settlement are firing on the marshall plots. So there's a battle going on but it seems to be a bit of a logic issue.
Would you (KG & the team) be interested in seeing this? I can save the game and send it over to you.

Here you go chief - if you can load the save, you should be in that random encounter spawn point just between concorde and the quarry. Make your way to Starlight Drive-in, you should see/hear small arms/laser fire. Go into TCL you will see the marshall posts under fire from a gunner by the gate and from turrets that are part of the city.
If you need anything else, let me know.

Very strange. I guess if any addon packs used unaltered vanilla turrets in their plot designs then they wouldn't receive the memo that these were friendlies during the capture phase.... Will probably have to overhaul some of the plot code to prevent this from happening.
