I’ve never seen any one suggest to run wsfw before ufo4p. That would be bad advice. If you run ufo4p, it goes first in LO.
i’ve seen posts that discuss whether to run wsfw before or after SS. Wsfw then SS makes the most logical sense to me so that’s how I roll.
Bully is correct. Workshop Framework is the Framework for SS to improve by... cake before the frosting.
Though the little secret is that by the time someone runs 200+ mods, the Unofficial Patch is pretty much overwritten by every other mod (as most carry vanilla records) - unless you patch it.
Example: the companion love embrace after a well rested sleep - placed in by UFO4 patch, not base FO4. NPC pretty mods... copies vanilla records - the new embrace perk is gone...
... such as life. Just remember each mod made is to enhance or fix the base game. And the best way to get rid of all these conflicts, IMHO, is everyone needs to simply embrace the DLC's, get them, stop the hem-hawing. A) makes modders life easy, and b) a vanilla only mod at the bottom of a mod list will/can wipe out all the importance and additions of DLC's.
"Mods don't work, this is missing, etc. etc.. blah blah blah."
Mods work great by themselves - OR if at the last of the load order (well, duh, they want theirs to overwrite everyone else's!) … and you can't blame them.
Sorry for the rant - again, Bully is absolutely correct - and those "other sources"... trust yourself, open up xEdit and see for yourself.
