Playing a new game with very few other mods but SS and add-ons. One of the few is Settlement Tidy Bot because otherwise Bethesda’s secret agenda to make me slowly go mad by making corpse respawn in settlements no matter how far I drag the corpse will come to fruition and I’m overall against the general idea of going insane.

Anyway, it’s supposed to be added to the Structure/Miscellaneous tab but when I went to get it. I only found two 3x3 foundations called HIT Foundation and HIT2 Foundation.

To try to confirm your add-on was the reason it didn’t work I disabled yours and reloaded... and the entire Structure tab was gone. It now started with Furniture.

Hi, @Irealys :bye I can't tell here what is going on.

1. when we say disable it and see if it fixes it. Well, probably as you described bad things happen to the menu when it is a workshop mod and it will have the results you are describing.

this might help:

2. Did this happen?
There is a brief initial mission / quest which provides a bit of backstory and conveys essential usage information. It normally begins after escaping from Vault 111. For those using an "alternate start" mod, it begins while outdoors in the Commonwealth (the main game area) -- or try visiting Sanctuary Hills and stand near the Workshop for a few minutes.

I love Athelbras but if anything goes wrong with that quest you won't get the menu. I would have installed it after confirming the foundation mod was working then made sure the tidy bot items spawned correctly?

3. From what you described it doesn't sound like the foundation mod was installed and working correctly to start? Can you confirm either mod ever worked?

Did either mod ever work or confirmed they were installed correctly?

I am on pc, but I am not feeling the "bug" here?

I would roll back before installing both mods and then reinstall them one at a time and test before installing the next one "now that you are aware they both touch the same menu."

Being incompatible when touching the same thing is not a bug. "It's Fallout" and thus you won't be able to do that.

Also, do you have the SMM mod installed? :scratchhead

I don't know why but I never received notifications because Watch Forum got toggled off, I used to get notifications when any posts were made here. I checked back manually because I was thinking about creating a Xbox specific thread that I could then link to from my Bethesda Net pages, ie an "Xbox One General VFX Mods discussion/bug reports" so that there can be a moderated space for that. I will put that off for the moment though because I am more interested in this.

Structures/Concrete/Floors was the intended location though the SMM version will have this be using Structures/VFX Foundations like on PC.

Not an Xbox player personally so didn't know what the situation was for them with regards to SMM and the like or if we can enforce a required file, so I had started off by basing the Xbox One version off of the No Sim Settlements & No SMM version as that way it should work even if the player does not download either Sims or SMM. I have since learned that SMM does exist for Xbox One players so I have been wanting to switch it over to use the proper SMM version like I use.

However I now use a 2 plugin system for the main PC version so that does create an extra step and extra chance for things to go wrong. On PC there is the concern about the ESP limit. The short version of it is you can add roughly 250 ESP/ESM plugins before the game will refuse to launch, one way to help alleviate this is for smaller mods with fewer than ~2000 new records to use ESL flag which causes them to use FE index just like how the Creation Club does. I use 2 ESL flagged plugins because I now have a bit above ~2000 records. This way allows for no load order ESP/ESM index slots(00-FD) to be used up for this mod.

Since Bethesda Net does not support offering multiple plugins/files from a single page and the interface doesn't let me hyperlink the pages in a way that allows people from the in-game browser to conveniently jump to the VFX Foundations 2nd page and the search function generally doesn't tend to work well on their site, I would say in conclusion that it would therefore be necessary to create a merged single plugin setup when bringing it all to X1.

So there is a fair bit of work and some uncertainty that would be involved. I am open to trying this if you or someone else can help test this out for me, since I do not own an Xbox One. The easiest test that would make the most sense to begin with would be uploading just the main VFX Foundations plugin. That will give everything besides the newest 25 color options of Terraformers. Come to think of it, I think that current version on Beth Net may not have included Terraformers since they require SS. I make my mods for PC first then I see if there is any way that makes sense that I can do an Xbox One version. "Making Sense" in this case referring to, ideally no technical issues(though it's guesswork when I don't own an X1) and not taking up much space since I assume any X1 player is going to have only a couple hundred MB to work with at best. Sim Settlements 3 in 1 + Conqueror are about 1GB, most will be running AWKCR/Armorsmith Extended, probably a choice outfit/gun mod and a choice build menu mod like Snappy HouseKit.
