Solved Uninstalling Conqueror (Faction Pack)

So I've been having issue with the Minutemen Faction Pack doing hinky stuff like making my base of operations (Sanctuary) unselectable for supply lines or sending people to. It got really weird when it suddenly gave me the executioner trait and it only gave me the option to execute a bugged/downed Preston instead of help him. I've tried uninstalling it now but Sanctuary still has the conquered icon on it (the skull in the chains) and is still unselectable for settlers. Is there any way to fix this or did I uninstall incorrectly?

Edit: I didn't know the main base was mechanically different so I'll just move it out of the way and work around it if need be. Thanks for the replies!

The main base won’t have traditional supply lines or settlers. It’s a different mechanic/system. You can use IDEK’s logistics station mod to create the equivalent links between settlements. Instead of using the recruitment beacon, you need to build a war desk and then add resources (click on ham radio)

The execution bit is interesting as stimpak and execute use the same button (X)

I think the chain and skull are Conqueror, not the MM faction pack. Can’t imagine it’ll go away unless you disable Conqueror, and suspect that’ll corrupt the playability of your save files

Did you roll back your save to a point before you installed the faction pack?

If not, then that is likely going to be a problem. :aggro

My understanding is that conqueror uses the nuka world raiders faction system which is automatically separate from the settlement system which would explain why you can’t send people from other settlements there or use supply lines as it uses something different for resource sharing. The IDEK logistic station suggestion is a solid one but limitations are going to remain as I don’t think they’ll change that in conqueror.

I’m hoping some of the features of conqueror will be implemented in non conqueror gameplay (like guards could level up or get better gear for instance) but I’m not holding my breath.

No matter how many times it is said, uninstalling mods midgame is problematic.

New games fix 95% of problems listed in here....

Okay, I didn't know that the main base was mechanically different all together. I guess I didn't have anyone to send to it in my actual Conqueror playthrough, so I never noticed it. I'll just leave conqueror on and work around it then. Thanks for the info!

At the moment only warriors level up I believe, and if you have an armory, their gear upgrades come based off of the level of the armory.

I manually upgrade gears on guards, and will even change them to warriors once in a while to take them out on attacks to try to level them up. But I found manually equipping them for the most part is enough for my purposes.
