hello. I am using a group of mods by bowenje. simple settlements for sim settlements.
one of them is named " on the the road to diamond city ".
it includes a city plan for Hangman's Alley.
i placed a city managers desk and selected the plan. choose a leader and watched the cinematic.
everything looked ok so I saved my game and carried on with my quests.
about a week later in game time I returned to do a " defend x quest " for the minutemen.
most of the settlement looked normal and then I saw a plot that contained a pile of earth. there was the end of a bed sticking out of it and npc's were moving freely through it.
there also seems to be some buildings and items left over from the original area.
should I reinstall the mod?

i just realised that the screenshot taken near the back door is the bottom of a level 1
industrial unit so that will go when it evolves

if the pile of earth is from an agricultural plot, will that disappear once the plot upgrades?
:bye
Some plots come with there own foundation "dirt-etc" or say not to use that plot with a foundation in the plot description. If you can't select the foundation and remove it then no and it will stay at higher levels.

Just go to the ASAM sensor and change to a different polt. Some plots will have to be built a ground level.

as the city plan author choose what type of plot it is, will i be able to change it? are there industrial and agricultural plots with no under earth?
i will do some hands on tests and see what happens

You can override the author's choice. Simply select another plan in the ASAM sensor menu.
Agricultural plots usually have dirt attached or have massive foundations.
But most industrial plots won't have attached dirt (usually noted as "use with any foundation")

is there an addon for SS aio version that has an agricultural plot that uses planters?
You could also change the plot type to something else and convert an interior plot of the new type to agricultural (if you actually want to have an agri plot in hangmans alley).
That alters the building plan a bit, but I'd see the agri plot here as a mistake of the planner. Maybe the plot type was not properly defined?

i have changed the plot to a greenhouse. food production without the pile of earth.
i have a different problem with Hangman's Alley now.
a building form the raider camp, that was there before I took it over, is still poking through all the city plan's structures. can I remove it without damaging the city plan? i will try a city refresh and see if it's still there. I remember I had a problem with Sanctuary hills once like it.
