Suggestion Daytime and TCL

I always seem to be building during the night and stuck at closed doors. So, if Workshop mode not only would change weather but daylight too that would be awesome. And TCL would be a blessing too. Thanx for this great mod.

I've found toggling collision while building can have issues with trying to edit objects more than once and it's not that hard to type 'tcl' for those times when it's needed. Automatically changing the time of day automatically might be a pain for those of us who build while playing, but might be doable as an opt-in option.

Couldn't time be changed by console as well?
Time's pretty easy to change, slightly more typing than collison 'set gamehour to x' . I'm guessing the original post was referring to how helpful it would be if we could have daylight all the time while building. I think it has come up before and the issue is I don't think you can change the overall light other than changing the actual game time, which is where it may cause issues with gameplay.

According to kinggath (I asked a couple months back) it is very bad to change timescales or to set the time of day. It tends to stuff up your game. (From memory, he said it messed up the scripts.)

There is a time-freeze option in WS+, though you do move like molasses while using it. (—edit— That one will be safe to use, else kinggath wouldn’t have put it in.)

I’m not certain how the timescale option in Place Everywhere works or how un/safe it might be to use. (F11 to toggle.)

TCL and TGM are not usable on XBox so kg won’t be implementing them into WS+ (having different code for the pc & xbox is nightmares-squared levels of bug fix pain looking to happen).
