Question Nothing but Crashes for Me Update 4.1.3

I put this in SS as I don't know which SS mod might be the problem if it's SS at all. Deleted prior versions of the three separate mods, SS, Conqueror and Framework. Installed new ones by manual download, Vortex install, crashed twice trying to load a save, third time loaded fine then crashed to desktop a minute later. Reloaded a save, one minute then a crash, etc etc, rinse and repeat. I do save further along each time and have been trying to successively keep moving forward in the hopes its just script overload or something and will peter out.

Will try that a few more times, then try from some random prior save, but not sure I'd expect a different thing happening by that.

Removed 4.1.3, reinstall of prior versions, loaded just fine and wandered off to an empty settlement. Saved, reinstalled 4.1.3, barely a minute in and game crashed.

Don't know about PC, but I know on Xbox after updates once I load a save, I just let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes because Xbox isn't great at handling scripts

I'm just waiting until morning to see what else gets updated. I only see that the 3n1 has been updated so far?

Good to update all of them at once is how I have done it. Like you said @MisterKen current version works fine for me so no hurry.

The patch notes also keep getting edited, so I like to read them first anyway and watch the video he publishes with them.

@Rites "great practice" I recommend exactly what you said for anyone on any system!

In fact, when I update SS I never do it in a settlement. I go to an interior cell and get it all done. Then make sure I walk after that to at least the first place I visit!

Looks like everything has been updated and the Patch notes video is up.

Lately the Nexus hasn't been great at its notification system. Check SS when it gets updated and usually the other ones are too but the Nexus failed to notify.

Anywho, update, I tried several other times but in the last attempt I was hiding out in Olivia. It finally resolved whatever problems it was having and now I am wandering freely about the place.

Post 4.1.3, I saw that auto assignment wasn't working well for some of my full pop cities so I started assigning people myself. They'd stay for about 5 minutes then unassign themselves. Applied to both settlers and raiders. I find that refreshing the plots seems to have helped that. I also find that not visiting the various outposts and vassals regularly results in the HUD showing wildly inaccurate info, and this still happens in 4.1.3. The Conqueror HUD does vanish when I leave a settlement so that's nice.

Per the wildly inaccurate info, are you using F4SE? I know without it, the HUD updates are horribly slow - and I need to rethink some of the code to work better for people not using it.
