So the script works now I just need to get the stages correct.
 
Some good info in this thread. I guess I'll have to go take the castle then... And see if that does anything for my options. On survival, that is going to be a hell of a ride. XD
 
You only get to use the minutemen plots if Garvey is your companion. If you dismiss him, they all revert to institute plots, because you are a traitor.

Also, I'm a liar and have no idea what I'm talking about, but still, I vote for that feature :D

Funny enough, I DO have him assigned to my minuteman plot. Maybe that should make it level up faster or immediately or something. Same if you assign the other faction-specific companions to the appropriate plots.. (probably not really worth the effort of coding that, if it's even possible, though :P)

Is it possible we're having issues because we've already completed the relevant quests before installing/upgrading your mod? Like it can't detect the quests already completed, but completing them while its installed DOES work? No idea if it works that way at all, just a thought.

No the script is checking the stages on game load, the problem is likely that the stages I'm checking don't work the way I think they do.
The only way I can think to get them right (with out brute-forcing it) is to complete each quest manually and use console commands to check which stages each quest completed. However, that would take me several days to do, so if anyone has a save they can share they can help expedite the process.
 
So the stages are off for the minutemen plots? I pretty much guessed what stages were needed, I think I have an idea for a way to get the exact stage.

Edit: So I can't do it the way I intended, does anyone have a save where they have completed most of these quests:

The First Step, Taking Independence, Call To Arms, Shadow of Steel, Institutionalized, Mankind Redefined, Tradecraft, The Molecular Level

Siding with it's respective faction?

I have completed all of these quests over several different characters. What do you need exactly, and how do I get my saves to you?
 
Uploading the one(s) that have the most of them complete to a file hosting site like mediafire or dorpbox. Since people say that it's the minutemen and brotherhood causing the issue right now, having at least those complete would be a big help.

Thanks, got the minutemen quest stages changed, but it seems I have the bos ones correct already.
@bludthurst you sure you can't build the brotherhood barracks? Are you sure you completed Call to Arms, siding with the brotherhood?
 
@JtBryant Yes, definitely completed Call to Arms. My character is a knight I think. I believe my next mission is the one where Maxon sends me after Danse and I have to go to that bunker and deal with the the Danse/synth thing. Last mission completed was getting the nukes for liberty prime.
 
Meanwhile, I have the option for brotherhood barracks and all I've done is that first quest with Danse and accepted joining the brotherhood. literally nothing else.. weird, huh?
 
@ArbiterSands That's how it should work, @bludthurst did you initially refuse to join the brotherhood since I didn't account for that.

Edit: I'm currently updating the pictures on the wiki. Done

Yup, just wanted to verify it was working correctly for ME, at least, so it's not entirely broken for brotherhood.

Yes, I think I did. I believe I had a companion at that time that was going to give me negativity affinity so I declined the first offer and then when back later without that companion and accepted.
 
Okay I have a fix for the minutemen and brotherhood ready, I just need to fix the code that makes each faction settlement-unique.
 
Finally got the code working, will have 1.0.2 up shortly.

Unless I get any more bug reports, I'm turning my attention to SimTowers.
1 Get it updated to SS 2.0.
2 Add the Mayor's Shack
3 Add 5 more guests
 
For the Mayor's Shack is there any features people want besides a bed and storage?

Mayor's Hut:
-1 food, -1 water, -1 happiness per pop
Provides 2 prewar food and 3 dirty water once a day.​
Mayor's Shack:
-2food, -2 water, -2 power +0.5 happiness per pop
Provides 3 low quality cooked food and 3 purified water once a day.​
Mayor's House:
-3food, -3 water, -5 power +2.5 happiness per pop
Provides 3 high quality cooked food, 3 purified water, and a nuka cola once a day.​
