Question Raid board miscounting soldiers (and ranks)

I've noticed a couple issues with the raid board's count of soldiers by rank and by special unit type. Note I am using the institute faction pack and haven't tested yet with other packs/the base raider faction.

1) the board counts special units as soldiers of the first rank, so I had 10 base recruits and 4 of 1 special type and 1 of the other. On the raid board when I set up an assault, it said there were 15 regular soldiers in addition to having the option to select special units. For clarity, the board was counting the special units both as regular soldiers and in their own special unit category.

2) the board isn't removing special units from its count correctly. I recruited 4 special units, killed them in the outpost, then recruited 4 more. But the raid board said I had 8 of that unit type available when I set up an assault. I didn't test what happened if I tried to send 8 even though only 4 were alive, or if the special unit died on a raid

3) possibly related to above, I can't recruit an additional "one per outpost" special unit after I kill the first one in the outpost. I haven't yet tested what happens if they die in a raid.

4) I set up a second outpost, then set up a raid in that second outpost using 5 rank 1 soldiers. Due to the soldier distribution, some of them came from my original outpost, some came from this second outpost. They all levelled after the raid, but when I checked the raid board in the second outpost, only the 2 soldiers from the second outpost appeared as rank 2. So when I tried to set up another raid from the second outpost with the listed 3 rank 1 soldiers and 2 rank 2 soldiers resulted in an error message (there was an error setting up your assult)

4cont.) I had to visit my first outpost to get the raid board count to become accurate. Now the raid board said I had 5 total rank 2 soldiers, as it should have. I was able to successfully set up the raid now.

I'll update this as I test more cases, but these experience seem to suggest there is an issue in the way special units are counted, and some rank counting issues with multiple outposts

If you still have any of these issues after the 4.0.10 patch, can you post a new request for each of them and that way we can convert each of them to bug reports after we confirm the issue?
 
I resurrected a potato and managed to do some testing. Though I still haven't tested how death during assaults work, my computer might explode. Will open new topics as requested and try
